As I had written at a previous post of mine, we should expect the scams and phishing activities to rise every holiday season.
So, if we are already careful, we should multiply our efforts and our attention so that we do not get scammed, because scammers could be anywhere.
When you spot a scammer, you can either spend some time to see where it is going and write about it, raising awareness or simply report and continue your way.
This post is about how I scammed a scammer and made an easy $15 doing a few clicks.
Rule number 1.
Scammers will always contact you first.
I got an interesting message by someone asking me if I wanted to work.
Well yes, of course!
I saw the opportunity.
This kind of scammers usually provide an easy 10 or 15 USDT for a few easy tasks and then try to get your money, because you believe that you can get more. The scenario is always similar.
There are always at least 3 to 4 different accounts (telegram)
The first account sent me to the second one who provided more detailed information.
I should click some sites, take screenshots (5 of them) and then I should contact a new person who would pay me.
I took the screenshots and then was asked to contact a third person who asked me some info and then promised to send me 15 USDT.
They asked me if I wanted to work and invited me to another channel where other users were sending screenshots of incoming amounts (red flags!!!)
I was supposed to registered to a link, and start doing my tasks.
I told them that I needed my salary first ... so after they told me there were some finance issues, they finally sent me my 15USDT!!
This was a nice break during my working hour today, and some of the easiest $$ I have made!
Hope this story made you smile, let me know if you had any similar incident in the past!
