of course it sounds nice! I’m not too good with defi though.

Hardly anyone use crypto for transactions in Japan, they don’t seem to know that it’s legal so they buy and keep it on exchanges…and I don’t know if anyone could convince them not to. The hack news will just encourage them to get rid of crypto. Japan is used to centralized power and it’ll take a lot to change that. Also there were a ton of local crypto cult scams that made the news here. It really turned people off.

Buuuuut over time I hope that the longer people see “HBD accepted” and QR’s to our blog, the more they’ll question and get involved in blogging in which case I’m sure they’ll be happy to use their earning to buy something if they were going to buy it anyway.

If I can do that through a Leo product, of course I will!

The beautiful thing about LeoMerchants is that it just generates a QR code for whatever the customer wants to pay in. Then the backend swaps whatever crypto they paid in to HBD

  1. customer says they want to pay in USDC (Arbitrum)
  2. USDC arbitrum wallet address is generated as a QR Code to scan
  3. User sends "$9" to that QR code
  4. LeoMerchants swaps USDC to HBD and sends HBD to the merchant

No DeFi is involved for either the merchant nor the consumer. It's all handled on the DEX rails. To the customer, they paid in whatever crypto they wanted and to the merchant, they received whatever crypto they wanted (in this case, HBD)

how do I start????!
It might be best for international sales for now but I’d love to have it available

threadsThis sounds good

The more places to accept crypto, the better!
