RE: Silver Gold Stackers Engagement Initiative #9 - 5 HSBI For Grabs

I typically buy (bought) from Tiffanys, but nowadays it's James Avery, a Texas jewelry chain. Unfortunately, my wife has a tendency to lose jewelry. She lost a large 14K Tiffanys floating heart pendant. She also lost a Tiffanys ring that she bought herself with winnings at a casino in Uruguay. Her excuse was that she lost weight anf the ring slipped off her finger. She has a habit of taking off her jewelry while sitting on the couch at night, and the heart pendant may have gone into the trash wrapped in a tissue :(

What a shame that she lost precious jewellery, that must have hurt :(
Better add some anti-slip to her next rings lol in case she loses more weight :)

I must admit that at some point when I was still wearing rings, this was a reason for me to stop doing it after I lose a very (dear to my heart) precious golden ring my boyfriend at the time bought me. I was a a teenager and he bought me a golden ring, even when we broke up, I wanted to hold on to it, but it got lost :(

I was a bit heartbroken because it was a precious memory.. I have a hard time of accepting these things so I would not feel comfortable at all wearing very expensive items around my neck, in my ears or on my fingers :)

Sounds like can really identify with the sense of loss. The sentimental value of the heart outweighed the dollar value, and my wife still regrets losing it.
