Digital Currency Revolution Begins

Technology is evolving and bringing digital revolution. The world is working on digital currency for their citizens and they are building solutions to introduce a digital form of yet currency which is also known as CBDC. Although many countries are still not doing much in this part but still some of the countries have taken the lead and doing great in digital currency. It is indeed a revolution that has already been started and now it will be interesting to see how many countries are coming forward to set an example for others to follow. The UAE Central Bank has made the issuance of the digital dirham a priority and they should be able to do so in the coming years.

India’s Interim budget 2024 is out today and it was expected that the government would do something about the crypto tax however nothing has happened. There is no change in the crypto tax everything will remain the same. There was a lot of talk about crypto taxation and reduction of TDS % as well but sadly this is not even part of the budget. Its an interim budget as India has elections this year and post-election the elected govt will release the complete budget for the financial year and still there is hope that the crypto industry will be considered.

Celsius is one of the companies that filed for bankruptcy in 2022 because of the market conditions as they were not able to pay off the outstanding. This is not the only company that filed for bankruptcy that year instead there were some more that did the same but the good news is that the company is now recovering and they are trying to pay back to its creditors. This is good news because the company is trying to repay the outstanding and it is right that they might not be paying the same amount but still it is good because at least people are getting their funds back. It is also a positive sign that the market is getting better and such companies are trying to stand again and do business in this crypto market.

We cannot agree on one statement that all politicians are corrupt because this is not true. We cannot deny that some politicians are not doing what they are supposed to and because of that countries have to deal with something which is not favourable. Some politicians are quite honest and hard-working and their intentions are always in favour of the country to bring some valuable projects and they participate in various discussions in Parliament. Politics is related to power and undoubtedly whoever is in power can make things favourable for them however this change might not be good for the country and its citizens.
