My believe in Hive get stronger every day.
Did you guys see the spike down in CTP today?
Anyone want to do the research required to tell me who it was and then speculating on whether they were purposely dumping or fat fingered their entire stack?
Also, cryptoandcoffee's take on problems with Hive layer-2 tokens is an interesting discussion point stemming from the dump.

The lack of liquidity is fatal. But that is the point we are at.
Hard enough to get enough volume on the Internal Exchange with HBD/HIVE.
Layer two solutions will require a lot more users.

You're right that without any diesel pools or external wrapped LPs, CTP faces a real lack of liquidity.
This is where LEO's external LPs and even the SWAP.HIVE:LEO LP on Tribaldex puts us on another level.
What I find interesting is that the CTP price hasn't come close to recovering yet.
But remember when the LEO whale fat finger sold all their LEO down to 0 recently?
Price recovered instantly because the liquidity available elsewhere allowed savvy traders to arb the market.
Liquidity is king!

Without a doubt. Plus the use cases for LEO keep growing as the platform expands. There are a lot of buyers as evidenced by the LPUD.
There were a couple hundred wallets adding. This is key, having a diverse number of wallets all seeking to increase their stake.
LEO is starting to get that.

Yep, you're on point again bringing up the importance of token distribution.
Gotta build a strong middle class that's ultimately able to absorb any whales who want to do what chronocrypto did here in CTP and cash out in a single hit.
LPUD is a great way to encourage this.

Four days ago, chronocrypto posted that he is going to liquidate his tokens to create the buy wall for Utopis. I suspect that's what happened to CTP.

Anything between 0.010 and 0.15 seems like a good buy price.
We've seen a ton of people just buying CTP at the market price via ListNerds, meaning it will likely continue to grind back higher toward 0.03 again when things settle.

So even though it looks like the price of LEO is tanking, it has actually rallied when priced in USD.

In @chronocrypto's defense, he has obligations to holders of his own UTOPIS token. I get daily drips of UTOPIS, so it's been good to me.

This bull/bear cycle has produced many such spikes in Hive. That has become a peculiar chart pattern, especially for Hive. I would personally think it's a win-win game as long as Hive sustains above 30 cents.

I do not think you get $1 on $HIVE unless the entire market turns. I am optimistic about the hard fork but I do not believe it will bring buying pressure.
Perhaps we can see the rollout of ProjectBlank helping if it reaches us in the next two months. I think that one will be a serious winner.

Mark Cuban made his billions in communications, so he should know. Not that it makes him an expert in cryptocurrency, but he's a visionary who can see what it would take for Bitcoin to take off as an asset of use to people besides being treated like a stock or a digital bar of gold.
