Genial, lo de algoritmo fue un ejemplo, esas cosas técnicas de la blockchain la gente no lo entiende y es irrelevante, sería más que nada explicar los beneficios que tienen aquí para quedarse, la educación de varias ramas sería bueno.

Es lo que siempre he dicho, la mejor forma de atraer personas a Hive es creando contenido que sea atractivo para ellos, actualmente se crea contenido para muy pocos nichos y que no interesa al 90% de los usuarios consumidores.
El threadcast de ayer pasó de los 1000 threads si bien es un número al que hoy no podemos aspirar a llegar, me parece que menos de 50 threads es muy poco cuando estan participando en el Twon Hall mas de 60 personas ahora mismo.
Pero para usar Threads no hay que usar Inleo, yo lo veo como una buena forma de interactuar con mas usuarios y muy buena forma de promocionar tus post. Hay que enseñarselo a las personas para que vean sus ventajas.

It's OK 2B on Hive just for the crypto. After a while, we stay for more than that. If we contribute and add value, then the crypto is bonus. If a time comes when we can't contribute, we can park our funds by staking them; that helps, too.
I plan to buy all of the hive I have earned (and sold) once I can secure a decent job in a new country. That will be my way of giving back to the community.

More than one person has told me that it works well for them from labs, I will definitely try it. Although today he managed to make them from inleo alpha.

There are people hear who think Ethereum is a decent blockchain. I don't even know what to say to them. Words cannot describe how much I hate the Ethereum network and all its layer 2 which are just VC backed chains.
my argument is that it is not usable. The blockchain is slow and expensive to transact on. 99.9% of the people on hive cannot use Ethereum on a daily. There is no practical reason to use Ethereum. most people use it for speculative reasons.
You're 2 years late for that argument, almost every NFT on opensea is on ethereum or layer 2 ethereum like polygon, optimism etc. All ethereum tools are used for smart contract, they invented smart contract.. ethereum is now proof of stake, fast than before but lot to catch up so L2 does the work. If not ethereum what you want to use TRON? Hive? lol.

My question: is Ethereum really accessible? The cost of transacting on the chain is steep hence, the need for layer 2 but those are also controlled by VCs. It really doesn't appeal to me. I understand for developers Ethereum is gold but it doesn't really work for the things I value like socialfi and even gaming (to some degree).

You lot don't really appreciate the value of feeless transaction. As an airdrop hunter I was averaging 20+ dollars monthly to transacts and move assets around the Ethereum network. Banks don't charge that much in most part of the world. How do you expect chains that charge so much to onboard billions of people from second and third world countries that need this technology the most? Or is crypto and blockchain only for the rich?
Unfortunately, the majority don't care as long as they are making the bank from the transactions. It's just so crazy why aren't taking crypto for what it should be.
Hive is not really feeless though... Somebody has to pay the block producers to produce blocks no matter what, in Hive's case the payment comes from supply inflation, so everyone is hidden taxed to pay for the transactions u and me included

Most blockchains are inflationary. However, unlike other blockchains Hive doesn't charge transaction fees. That's a big difference.
It's more complex than that, basically ETH's inflation and gas fees are distributed to the block producers, but a portion is burned through EIP1559, and for some time now ETH has actually been deflationary
But I was just referring to Hive, in Hive's case ppl like to say they don't pay for tx, but there is a hidden inflation tax that makes everyone pay for the tx

Genial, lo de algoritmo fue un ejemplo, esas cosas técnicas de la blockchain la gente no lo entiende y es irrelevante, sería más que nada explicar los beneficios que tienen aquí para quedarse, la educación de varias ramas sería bueno.

Creo que esto es lo más importante, darnos cuentas de que somos parte de Hive, no un ladito, no un nicho, somos parte del ecosistema mayor. Además las aplicaciones se crean para ser usadas, no podemos ser todos los que proveen, el consumidor es tan importante en el círculo de la economía como el que provee. Si nadie consume pues, te quedas con tu producto en el almacén.
Tenemos que hacernos a la idea de que formamos una parte importante de Hive, los creadores y consumidores tienen que estar en balance para que todo funcione bien, no puede existir uno sin el otro.
Si, lleva tiempo entenderlo pero es así como dices.
Siempre se ha dicho de Hive: La reputación es lo más importante.
Y no es el numerito que dice que has recibido votos, es cómo te haces presente en la comunidad, es el resultado de tu trabajo. No puedes cosechar frutos que no has sembrado.

Pudieran ser muy buenas opciones, el uso paralelo de publicidad o mediante convenios con plataformas fuera de Hive.
Si eso se implementa, va aportar mucho valor a Hive y sus comunidades, una integración con la EVM abre muchas posibilidades para nosotros y muchas nuevas features para ellos.
Me gusta esa idea, necesitamos más espacios en español, para los que no estamos tan avanzados en el inglés, aunque confienso que he mejorado mucho escuchando los espacios en inglés.

It's OK 2B on Hive just for the crypto. After a while, we stay for more than that. If we contribute and add value, then the crypto is bonus. If a time comes when we can't contribute, we can park our funds by staking them; that helps, too.
I plan to buy all of the hive I have earned (and sold) once I can secure a decent job in a new country. That will be my way of giving back to the community.

There are people hear who think Ethereum is a decent blockchain. I don't even know what to say to them. Words cannot describe how much I hate the Ethereum network and all its layer 2 which are just VC backed chains.
Ethereum is dominant on smart contracts, tokens, so much so you can't escape solidity language which is from ethereum.
my argument is that it is not usable. The blockchain is slow and expensive to transact on. 99.9% of the people on hive cannot use Ethereum on a daily. There is no practical reason to use Ethereum. most people use it for speculative reasons.
You're 2 years late for that argument, almost every NFT on opensea is on ethereum or layer 2 ethereum like polygon, optimism etc. All ethereum tools are used for smart contract, they invented smart contract.. ethereum is now proof of stake, fast than before but lot to catch up so L2 does the work. If not ethereum what you want to use TRON? Hive? lol.
what are you doing on Hive then? I can bet you spend more time on hive than any of the chains you've spoken about. That already proves my point. If they are superior chains than you won't be using Hive, but that is not the case.

You are making a baseless argument which has nothing to do with the point i raised. I was never arguing about market cap or developers' preferences. Hive is a better chain than eth based on speed, security and scalability.
Ethereum is to blockchain as Windows is to Apple. Even if Apple products and operating systems are superior in every way to Windows systems, Windows systems are more accessible to a large group of people. Ubiquity matters.
My question: is Ethereum really accessible? The cost of transacting on the chain is steep hence, the need for layer 2 but those are also controlled by VCs. It really doesn't appeal to me. I understand for developers Ethereum is gold but it doesn't really work for the things I value like socialfi and even gaming (to some degree).

I am sure if a blockchain like Hive never existed I would never have joined crypto. I still don't care about crypto ( I am not a coin marxi or speculator). I am here mainly for the social experience and the revenue stream this space offers me.

Eth has some pros and cons like most chains. But I dont think many argue that it is trash, just that there might be or might come better solutions.

You lot don't really appreciate the value of feeless transaction. As an airdrop hunter I was averaging 20+ dollars monthly to transacts and move assets around the Ethereum network. Banks don't charge that much in most part of the world. How do you expect chains that charge so much to onboard billions of people from second and third world countries that need this technology the most? Or is crypto and blockchain only for the rich?
Unfortunately, the majority don't care as long as they are making the bank from the transactions. It's just so crazy why aren't taking crypto for what it should be.
Hive is not really feeless though... Somebody has to pay the block producers to produce blocks no matter what, in Hive's case the payment comes from supply inflation, so everyone is hidden taxed to pay for the transactions u and me included

Most blockchains are inflationary. However, unlike other blockchains Hive doesn't charge transaction fees. That's a big difference.
It's more complex than that, basically ETH's inflation and gas fees are distributed to the block producers, but a portion is burned through EIP1559, and for some time now ETH has actually been deflationary
But I was just referring to Hive, in Hive's case ppl like to say they don't pay for tx, but there is a hidden inflation tax that makes everyone pay for the tx

same pace as it is today, struggling to get more users into the space. the space doesnt necessarily need new ways to onboard new people, it needs more people who can bring new ideas to life. most people on here only know how to post, delegate, & buy, all the people who know how to develop stuff are too busy to teach how to build stuff on here so we're left with the same people doing the same stuff they have been for the last +5 years.

Ingredients
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. kosher salt
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
6 boneless skinless chicken thighs
4 tbsp. unsalted butter.....
2 tbsp. canola or vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
2/3 c. dry white wine
1/3 c. chicken broth
1 c. heavy whipping cream
3 c. spinach, loosely packed
1/2 c. grated parmesan cheese
1/4 c. sliced sun-dried tomatoes, drained
Directions
Shake the chicken gently until all of the coating is on it. Give the chicken fifteen minutes to sit at room temperature in the flour mixture.
