A melhor coisa seria dizer pra anotar as chaves em um papel, mas se a pessoa já não faz isso com suas senhas de contas da web2, quem dirá com uma chave privada de criptomoeda.
Não é necessário. O mais seguro mesmo é salvar em um arquivo criptografado. Porém, pra isso vai precisar de uma senha pra poder acessar esse arquivo, então no mínimo vc teria que decorar uma senha.
A falta de segurança própria sem depender de terceiros é um problema que a maioria das pessoas ainda tem, e isso só vai mudar depois que começarem a tomar no rabo, tendo contas da web2 invadidas, etc.
Por isso defendo a delegação dessa responsabilidade. Por isso todas as contas que eu crio, coloco o @perfilbrasil como autoridade Owner, assim se a pessoa perder as chaves, posso criar outras.
Isso é interessante e acredito que já resolveria o primeiro problema. A maioria das pessoas eu creio que não teriam problemas com isso, já que delegam a maioria das coisas pra terceiros.
Fora que há serviços como o da Ecency que deixam BASTANTE a desejar no quesito de criação de contas. Solicita a criação de conta, mas o email de confirmação vem com um link que demora para carregar, e ao dar F5 ele diz que a chave já foi fornecida, o que torna ela perdida para sempre.
Por isso a necessidade de um serviço dedicado para administrar isso. E nem precisa cuidar das chaves, basta manter uma autoridade administrativa "Owner" sobre a conta.
Eu não tenho muita profundidade técnica na Hive então não consigo ver muitas soluções para as chaves. Não consigo pensar em uma solução que facilite a experiência de usuários sem comprometer a segurança.
Única solução para usuários mais relapsos seria conceder autoridade proprietária a uma conta de confiança para que esta possa recriar as chaves se necessário. Sei que é centralizador, mas a pessoa sempre pode remover a autoridade "Owner".
Inleo tem MUITOS bugs e os anúncios ficam em posições desconfortáveis para navegação. Teria que melhorar muito essa parte. Além de facilitar a criação e recuperação de contas para "novatos" na Hive e no cryptoverso.
A questão de não ser golpe também ouço bastante. Eu confesso que não tenho muita paciência pra tentar convencer as pessoas, mas quando tento, o que procuro fazer é desconstruir todos os aspectos de um golpe tradicional, mostrando que não estão presentes na Hive. Por exemplo: não é preciso investir nenhuma quantia inicial; não é preciso entrar com nenhum dado sensível e coisas do tipo. A ideia é mostrar que não teria nenhum "ganho" para o golpista, caso ele existisse
Acho que é uma boa também explicar desde o começo sobre os valores, muita gente até entra aqui achando q é grana facil, escreve um post e pega 100 dol, então tem que explicar q nao é dinheiro facil, mas que tem possibilidades incriveis de crescer e receber bem e tal

Eu tenho uma duvida que sempre me faz ficar pensativo: têm como a #hive acabar? Tipo o token em si, tem um supply limitado que pode acabar algum dia? Se não, como ou o que poderia acontecer para a hive "acabar"?
Nas condições atuais, não. O token é inflacionário, o que significa que sempre serão emitidos novos tokens (embora a taxa de inflação reduz gradativamente até chegar um momento em que ficará estável).
Pra mudar isso precisaria haver um fork na rede.
Mas a Hive pode acabar de outras maneiras, como por exemplo abandono dos validadores, evasão de usuários e coisas do tipo

Eu não tenho muita profundidade técnica na Hive então não consigo ver muitas soluções para as chaves. Não consigo pensar em uma solução que facilite a experiência de usuários sem comprometer a segurança.
Única solução para usuários mais relapsos seria conceder autoridade proprietária a uma conta de confiança para que esta possa recriar as chaves se necessário. Sei que é centralizador, mas a pessoa sempre pode remover a autoridade "Owner".

Eu tenho uma duvida que sempre me faz ficar pensativo: têm como a #hive acabar? Tipo o token em si, tem um supply limitado que pode acabar algum dia? Se não, como ou o que poderia acontecer para a hive "acabar"?
Nas condições atuais, não. O token é inflacionário, o que significa que sempre serão emitidos novos tokens (embora a taxa de inflação reduz gradativamente até chegar um momento em que ficará estável).
Pra mudar isso precisaria haver um fork na rede.
Mas a Hive pode acabar de outras maneiras, como por exemplo abandono dos validadores, evasão de usuários e coisas do tipo

Eu estava pensando sobre isso ontem. Pelo que eu vi, a Hive tem uma oferta infinita, e isso me deixa um pouco preocupado, pois se não entrar gente interessada, aos poucos o seu preço deve ser reduzido até o projeto morrer.
Entendi, no caso precisa sempre de mais pessoas para consumir e fazer o mercado girar, mas so de ter oferta infinita já é um problema a menos, talvez de uma sensação de segurança, de que o que vc está investido agora vai continuar dando frutos por muito tempo, claro que quanto mais gente entrar, melhor

Tem que ter gente entrando e disposta a comprar hive e inclusive guardando algumas. É aquele negócio de oferta e demanda, se tem muita gente vendendo e pouca gente comprando, o preço vai cair, até que isso se inverta e o preço suba.
Se tiver alguma forma de queimar, também ajuda, pois reduz a quantidade de hive em circulação. Tem gente que faz post justamente para isso.

You can't use Metamask for everything (only EVM-enabled chains)

But if you want to trade HIVE for USDT (ETH) or something like that, you could definitely just use Keychain + Metamask

I have this feeling that many people on Hive are going to say they can't figure out how to get ETH on-chain for Arbitrum gas fees to do (for example) BTC -> HIVE swaps
You need Arbi ETH Gas because you're swapping through the LEO pool to make that happen
So we're going to build a decentralized gas solution called a faucet. It will be a button that you can click (totally optional) if you don't have a way to get ETH Gas on Arbitrum.
This way, you'll pay a fee to LeoDex in the form of LEO and then we'll convert it to ETH Gas in your Arbitrum Wallet automagically.
One-click and you've got gas money. But be prepared to pay a premium. I have a feeling we'll charge between 10% and 25% this. For example send $1 worth of LEO (10 LEO right now) and get $0.85 worth of ETH on Arbitrum in your Arbi wallet

Content is a product. Nearly everyone here refuses to sell their product. Everyone wants to attract investors. Biggest investors in content are consumers. Nobody wants to attract consumers.
Generating revenue from existing stake = net loss
Why is this?
It's just money going in circles. No outside money coming in to make up for what can be sold or removed from the circle.
Content creation becomes value creation only when outside interest arrives to support it. Content attracts consumer interest. Consumer can support at no cost by staking. Now with value creation, an investor has something to invest in.
The problem with Hive becoming mainstream is that it is already full of people who know what all those words mean. We need to dumb down to be ready for the masses.
If you can listen to music and push a button, you're ready.
Without getting a whiplash, how close to the ideal version of yourself could you get today? And how?

I've always loved the "grow larger"-genre (not sure what to call it). You start as a small fish (or whatever type of organism) and then you eat stuff that's smaller than you and avoid being eaten by stuff that's larger than you. The more mass whatever you eat has, the more mass you gain
That is a fun genre.

Still in the eat-or-be-eaten-genre - a game similar to agar.io but with some key differences; So the game has actually already been made, it's just that it doesn't have a single human player and it looks like shit and hasn't been updated in 10-15 years. While the gameplay may look super simple on the surface, it's gameplay is deep and requires a lot of skill, not to mention being very immersive. It also holds the potential of NFT utilization without ruining the game.
