Se a véspera do jogo foi agitada, com ataques dos dois lados, a quarta-feira reservou um dia de trégua na relação entre Flamengo e Gabigol. O Maracanã recebeu o jogo contra o Atlético-MG pelo Brasileirão, mas os holofotes estavam na presença de atacante, que ficou fora da relação do jogo por decisão da diretoria. Em função de bombas arremessadas no gramado e da tentativa de invasão por parte de torcedores, o STJD determinou a interdição da Arena MRV e jogos do Galo com portões fechados até o julgamento do caso. O clube irá recorrer com intuito de jogar no estádio sem a presença de torcedores.
No decorrer do jogo, torcedores do Galo arremessaram copos no goleiro do Flamengo, Rossi, que deve gerar punição para o clube mineiro. O árbitro da partida paralisou o jogo e anotou sobre os objetos jogados em campo.
Além de copos e garrafas arremessados, a torcida alvinegra xingou os jogadores do time carioca que estavam fazendo o aquecimento perto deles. Gerou uma confusão entre ambos, mas logo após os jogadores voltaram ao treinamento.
Nos 37 minutos do segundo tempo, o Flamengo decretou o título com o gol do atacante Plata. Após a comemoração, um torcedor do Atlético invadiu o campo, mas foi detido pelos seguranças do estádios antes mesmo de entrar no gramado. Gabigol e Hulk também se estranharam depois do gol.
Do gol flamenguista em diante, os ânimos ficaram bastante exaltados, com torcedores atleticanos arremessando bombas e objetos no gramado. Uma das bombas atingiu um fotógrafo, que fraturou três dedos do pé e teve cortes no pé, além de romper tendões na região, precisando passar por um procedimento cirúrgico.
Após o apito final, parte da torcida do Galo tentou invadir o gramado. Hulk pediu calma para o grupo que tentou invadir o campo. Os infratores foram flagrados arremessando grades, bebidas e bombas em direção ao gramado, além da tentativa de invasão. No momento, os jogadores do Flamengo tiveram que correr em direção ao vestiário, para escapar de possíveis agressões.

O Atlético-MG divulgou que, junto às forças de Segurança de Minas Gerais, identificou 21 envolvidos nos ocorridos na partida da final da Copa do Brasil, contra o Flamengo, na Arena MRV. Segundo o clube, mais nove estão em processo avançado de identificação.

Em comunicado divulgado à imprensa, o clube informou que as câmeras da Arena MRV e "todo o aparato técnico empregado no evento" foram e seguem sendo fundamentais no processo de identificação dos envolvidos.
Em função de bombas arremessadas no gramado e da tentativa de invasão por parte de torcedores, o STJD determinou a interdição da Arena MRV e jogos do Galo com portões fechados até o julgamento do caso. O clube irá recorrer com intuito de jogar no estádio sem a presença de torcedores.
No decorrer do jogo, torcedores do Galo arremessaram copos no goleiro do Flamengo, Rossi, que deve gerar punição para o clube mineiro. O árbitro da partida paralisou o jogo e anotou sobre os objetos jogados em campo.
Além de copos e garrafas arremessados, a torcida alvinegra xingou os jogadores do time carioca que estavam fazendo o aquecimento perto deles. Gerou uma confusão entre ambos, mas logo após os jogadores voltaram ao treinamento.
Nos 37 minutos do segundo tempo, o Flamengo decretou o título com o gol do atacante Plata. Após a comemoração, um torcedor do Atlético invadiu o campo, mas foi detido pelos seguranças do estádios antes mesmo de entrar no gramado. Gabigol e Hulk também se estranharam depois do gol.
Do gol flamenguista em diante, os ânimos ficaram bastante exaltados, com torcedores atleticanos arremessando bombas e objetos no gramado. Uma das bombas atingiu um fotógrafo, que fraturou três dedos do pé e teve cortes no pé, além de romper tendões na região, precisando passar por um procedimento cirúrgico.
Após o apito final, parte da torcida do Galo tentou invadir o gramado. Hulk pediu calma para o grupo que tentou invadir o campo. Os infratores foram flagrados arremessando grades, bebidas e bombas em direção ao gramado, além da tentativa de invasão. No momento, os jogadores do Flamengo tiveram que correr em direção ao vestiário, para escapar de possíveis agressões.
Mundial de Clubes 2025: Fifa divulga detalhes do troféu
A Fifa apresentou nesta quinta-feira o troféu do Mundial de Clubes de 2025. A entidade criou uma nova taça para a versão estendida do torneio, que contará com 32 participantes e passará a ocorrer de quatro em quatro anos. Atlético-MG ou Botafogo, Flamengo, Fluminense e Palmeiras serão os representantes brasileiros na competição.

O troféu apresenta ícones e imagens que retratam a história do futebol, um mapa do mundo e os nomes de todos os 211 países membros da Fifa. Além disso, a taça também mostra a posição do sistema solar no dia da partida de abertura da competição, em 13 de junho de 2025. O design do troféu foi feito em colaboração com a Tiffany & Co.
Os 32 times do Mundial de 2025 serão divididos em oito grupos de quatro equipes. A Fifa vai formar grupos para a competição em um sorteio dirigido (com divisão de potes) levando em consideração fatores esportivos e geográficos. Mais detalhes serão divulgados em breve. O torneio será realizado entre 15 de junho e 13 de julho de 2025.
O confronto direto será o primeiro critério de desempate na fase de grupos (uma novidade em torneios organizados pela Fifa), seguido por saldo de gols e quantidade de gols marcados. As duas melhores equipes de cada grupo avançam para o mata-mata da competição, que começa nas oitavas de final. Em caso de empate nos 'playoffs', a partida será decidida na prorrogação com disputa de pênaltis em sequência.
A edição inaugural do chamado "Super Mundial" será disputada em 11 cidades nos Estados Unidos, sendo que uma delas, Orlando, terá dois estádios no torneio. Nove sedes ficam na Costa Leste, e apenas duas estão na Costa Oeste (Los Angeles e Seattle). O MetLife Stadium, na região de Nova York, foi escolhido para receber a final do torneio, no dia 13 de julho de 2025. A competição terá 32 times e será disputada a cada quatro anos.

Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, the domed stadium where the Rays have played since their inception in 1998, was critically impacted by the hurricane last month, with many of the roof panels completely destroyed.
The stadium is unplayable for the entire 2025 season, though it can be ready for 2026 with $55.7 million in repairs, according to a 412-page report released Tuesday by the City of St. Petersburg.
Plans were previously in place for the Rays to get a new $1.3 billion ballpark in St. Petersburg for the 2028 season.
