Yesterday, March 16, 2024, ended the first season of Splinterlands in which the new Ranked System was introduced.
The new Ranked System introduced many changes with the goal of simplifying the game dynamics, and the removal of card level league caps was certainly the most important change to achieve this goal of simplification.

The new ranked system has produced an immediate improvement in my playing results in the Modern Format but before I show you my seasonal results I will share some interesting new features that Splinterlands announced in this post and that will be introduced in the near future.

You may have noticed that the current season has a longer duration than previous seasons.

The reason for this longer duration is the next change to the Ranked Reward System,
The new Ranked Reward System will be introduced on April 2, 2024 immediately after the end of the current season.

The current mechanism of chests will be replaced with a mechanism of Reward Points called Glint.

The Glints will be usable in a new Reward Shop to purchase:

• reward cards
• potions
• energy points
• merits
• limited edition titles

If you play Brawls and have Gladiator cards I suggest you choose now whether to convert Gladiator cards you don't use to DEC because in the near future Gladiator cards can only be converted to Merits.

A new battle rule will also be introduced: Shades of Gray.

This new ruleset will increase the usefulness of Neutral cards because they will be the only cards that can be used in battles with this ruleset.

After this small parenthesis about the upcoming changes that will be introduced on Splinterlands I will move on to show you my results in the first season with the new Ranked System.

The first season with the new Ranked System was a very positive season for me because I improved my game results a lot.

In fact, I finished the last season with the old ranked system, season 129, in league Silver I with a rating = 1615

In season 130, with the new ranked system, I arrived in the Gold II league with a rating = 2410

In the transition from the old ranked system to the new ranked system my win rate improved by +9.43%.

My results also show the goodness of the new mechanism for earning rating points because with a win rate of just over 50% I moved from the Silver III league to the Gold II league.

In the new ranked system to advance in leagues it is important to collect more consecutive wins and at least 3 consecutive wins.

My seasonal results would have been better if I had not lost many battles to time expiration.
This is always my weakness but unfortunately my free time is often short and when I play on Splinterlands I do at least two other things at the same time.

For example in the five battles you can see in the image below having lost the third battle by time expiration caused me to lose +100 rating points.

Indeed:

• one series Win - Win - Lose - Win - Win = +60 rating points
• one series Win - Win - Win - Win -Win = +160 rating points.

The new season started for me much better than the previous one.

In season 131 I started from the Silver I league of the Modern Format.

After only 8 battles played I have already arrived in the Gold III league.

I could have started the season with a 100% win rate but of course there is always a battle I lose because of me without fielding my battle formation :(

My first goal for the current season will be to not lose any more battles by time expiration!

My seasonal rewards have also improved thanks mostly to the Gold chests I received in the second half of the season.

According to information from https://splintershare.info/ in season 129 I received rewards with a total value = $6.50

In season 130 I received rewards for a total value = 9.51$

I am glad to have found 1 BCX of a Soulbound legendary card that I did not have in my collection: BERIX SNAKEYE

During season 130 I made progress in accumulating soulbound cards:

• Common Regular: 64%
• Common Gold: 19%
• Rare Regular: 52%
• Rare Gold: 21%
• Epic Regular: 34%
• Epic Gold: 7%
• Legendary Regular: 19%
• Legendary Gold: 10%

Thanks to the cards I found in the chests during season 130, I also managed to make an upgrade that will be very useful in battle: COASTAL SENTRY: level 8 -> level 9

At level 9 COASTAL SENTRY acquires +1 attack point and will now be a card that I will use even more in battles where the battle rules allow the Coastal Sentry attack from any position.

Regarding my priority purchase goals related to Summoner cards, I have made progress on Akane and Possibilus the Wise upgrades.

My goal is to get these two summoners to the maximum level:
Akane: I have two BCXs and still need to purchase 9 BCXs.
Possibilus the Wise: I have 7 BCXs and still need to purchase 4 BCXs.

While waiting for my BID purchase offers for Akane and Possibilus The Wise to be accepted by some seller today I made a purchase offer for 55 BCX from General Sloan.

With the purchase of 55 BCX I would take my General Sloan to the highest level.

In my collection I only have Grandmaster Rathe as a maximum level summoner of the LIFE element and General Sloan although not a summoner I use much is a relatively low cost upgrade that will be useful to me in battles that have the Little League, Going to Distance and Silenced Summoners rulesets.

I really like the new Ranked System because it has simplified the game dynamics and because it provides an incentive to level up one's cards, and in fact, it is because of this incentive that I have accelerated my efforts to optimize my collection of usable cards in Modern Format!

Notizie Recenti + La mia Prima Stagione dopo l'Introduzione del Nuovo Ranked System!

Ieri 16 marzo 2024 è terminata la prima stagione di Splinterlands in cui è stato introdotto il nuovo Ranked System.
Il nuovo Ranked System ha introdotto tanti cambiamenti con l'obiettivo di semplificare le dinamiche di gioco e la rimozione del card level league caps è stata certamente la modifica più importante per raggiungere questo obiettivo di semplificazione.

Il nuovo ranked system ha prodotto un immediato miglioramento dei miei risultati di gioco nel Modern Format ma prima di mostrarti i miei risultati stagionali condivido alcune interessanti novità che Splinterlands ha annunciato in questo post e che saranno introdotte nel prossimo futuro.

Avrai sicuramente notato che la stagione in corso ha una durata superiore alle precedenti stagioni.

Il motivo di questa durata più lunga è la prossima modifica al Ranked Reward System,
Il nuovo Ranked Reward System sarà introdotto il 2 aprile 2024 subito dopo la fine della stagione in corso.

Il meccanismo attuale dei chests sarà sostituito con un meccanismo di Reward Points chiamati Glint.

I Glint potranno essere utilizzati in un nuovo Reward Shop per acquistare:

• reward cards
• potions
• energy points
• merits
• titoli in edizione limitata

Se giochi le Brawls e hai Gladiator cards ti consiglio di scegliere adesso se convertire le carte Gladiator che non usi in DEC perchè nel prossimo futuro le carte Gladiator potranno essere convertite solo in Merits.

Sarà introdotta anche una nuova regola di battaglia: Shades of Gray

Questa nuova ruleset aumenterà l'utilità delle carte Neutrali perchè sarnanno le uniche carte utilizzabili nelle battaglie con questa ruleset.

Dopo questa piccola parentesi sulle prossime modifiche che saranno introdotte su Splinterlands passo a mostrarti i miei risultati nella prima stagione con il nuovo Ranked System.

La prima stagione con il nuovo Ranked System è stata per me una stagione molto positiva perchè ho migliorato di molto i miei risultati di gioco.

Infatti ho terminato l'ultima stagione con il vecchio ranked system, la stagione 129, in lega Silver I con un punteggio di rating = 1615

Nella stagione 130, con il nuovo ranked system, sono arrivato in lega Gold II con un punteggio di rating = 2410

Nel passaggio dal vecchio ranked system al nuovo ranked system il mio win rate è migliorato del +9.43%.

I miei risultati mostrano anche la bontà del nuovo meccanismo di guadagno dei punti di rating perchè con un win rate di poco superiore al 50% sono passato dalla lega Silver III alla lega Gold II.

Nel nuovo ranked system per avanzare nelle leghe è importante collezionare più vittorie consecutive e almeno 3 vittorie consecutive.

I miei risultati stagionali sarebbero stati migliori se non avessi perso molte battaglie per scadenza del tempo.
Questo è sempre il mio punto debole ma purtroppo il mio tempo libero è spesso poco e quando gioco su Splinterlands faccio almeno altre due cose contemporaneamente.

Ad esempio nelle cinque battaglie che puoi vedere nell'immagine seguente aver perso la terza battaglia per scadenza del tempo mi ha fatto perdere +100 punti di rating.

Infatti:

• una serie Win - Win - Lose - Win - Win = +60 punti di rating
• una serie Win - Win - Win - Win - Win = +160 punti di rating

La nuova stagione è iniziata molto meglio della precedente.

Nella stagione 131 ho iniziato dalla lega Silver I del Modern Format

Dopo solo 8 battaglie giocate sono già arrivato in lega Gold III

Potevo iniziare la stagione con un win rate del 100% ma ovviamente c'è sempre una battaglia che perdo per colpa mia senza schierare la mia formazione di battaglia :(

Il mio primo obiettivo per la stagione in corso sarà di non perdere più battaglie per scadenza del tempo!

Anche le mie ricompense stagionali sono migliorate grazie soprattutto ai forzieri Gold che ho ricevuto nella seconda parte della stagione.

In base alle informazioni del sito https://splintershare.info/ nella stagione 129 ho ricevuto ricompense per un valore totale = 6.50$

Nella stagione 130 ho ricevuto ricompense per un valore totale = 9.51$

Sono contento di aver trovato 1 BCX di una carta leggendaria Soulbound che non avevo nella mia collezione: BERIX SNAKEYE

Durante la stagione 130 ho fatto dei passi in avanti nell'accumulo e potenziamento delle carte soulbound:

• Common Regular: 64%
• Common Gold: 19%
• Rare Regular: 52%

Grazie alle carte che ho trovato nei forzieri durante la stagione 130 sono riuscito a fare anche un upgrade che mi sarà molto utile in battaglia: COASTAL SENTRY: level 8 -> level 9

Al livello 9 COASTAL SENTRY acquisisce +1 punto di attacco e adesso sarà una carta che userò ancora di più nelle battaglie in cui le regole di battaglia mi permetteranno di far attaccare Coastal Sentry da qualsiasi posizione.

Per quanto riguarda i miei obiettivi di acquisto prioritari relativi alle carte Evocatore ho fatto dei passi in avanti per Akane e Possibilus the Wise.

Il mio obiettivo è portare questi due evocatori al livello massimo:
Akane: ho due BCX e devo acquistare ancora 9 BCX
Possibilus the Wise: ho 7 BCX e devo acquistare ancora 4 BCX

Mentre aspetto che le mie offerte di acquisto BID per Akane e Possibilus The Wise vengano accettate da qualche venditore oggi ho fatto un'offerta di acquisto per 55 BCX di General Sloan.

Con l'acquisto di 55 BCX porterei il mio General Sloan al massimo livello.

Nella mia collezione ho solo Grandmaster Rathe come evocatore di massimo livello dell'elemento LIFE e General Sloan anche se non è un evocatore che uso molto è un upgrade di relativamente basso costo che potrà essermi utile nelle battaglia che hanno le ruleset Little League, Going to Distance e Silenced Summoners.

Il nuovo Ranked System mi piace molto perchè ha semplificato le dinamiche di gioco e perchè incentiva ad aumentare il livello delle proprie carte e infatti è proprio grazie a questo incentivo che ho accellerato la mia attività di ottimizzazione della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile nel Modern Format!
