RE: Hive Silver Bloggers - New Kid on the Block's Inaugural HivePUD

LOL, I really like that title, can we change our name I wonder🤔 @riverflows was the original instigator jokingly suggesting I start a community called the Grey Bloggers, that sounded wayyyy too old and boring, so Hive Silver Bloggers was born. Anyway, we have a couple of real silver panthers here, now that would have sounded way more exciting 😅
Glad to have another younger member onboard, you guys can guide us more seasoned (not old) ones when we get lost here on the interweb😅
We've got a couple really fun bloggers here, always with a bit of wisdom hidden among the laughs.
Look forward to seeing you around.

Glad you like it :)

I don't know about changing the name. I suppose it's possible yet have never tried editing the community's name. The account stays the same so it should be doable.

I will try to help in any way I can, certainly.

Seasoned is a word, exactly. I remember my first contact with the internet more than 30 years ago when to download a file meant to subscribe to it via email and get it in encoded chunks. How times have changed ...

Anyway, good luck with the community, blogging, and living the informational/crypto highway.

Thank you so much @ervin-lemark, will look at that, but you're right, things certainly have evolved! I worked as a draughtswoman most of my life and was horrified when I had to drop those pens for CAD, initially said it was much easier by hand but I soon saw the benefits! Like spilling a cup of coffee on your plan that was just about complete and having to redraw it from scratch again! Happened to me once. Of course CAD was tons easier in the end, then internet happened and it was like magic😅 Times have certainly changed again like now with contactless deliveries.
My grandpa used to tell me how he was the only one in his family not to get the Spanish flu and had to walk miles to just outside the town & leave his mom's shopping list at a designated spot (they lived on a farm), then go and wait a little further back while the list was collected and food eventually delivered to same spot some hours later, he was only 8 at the time!
We're actually spoiled today I think.
Have a great day further😊

Thank you for sharing these beautiful insights. They are small gems in their own right. Just perfect for the community.

I won't say that we are spoiled. We just don't know the hardship and can't appreciate that simpler life has its benefits.

On the other hand, the majority around the globe live in hardship every day. We are extremely lucky to be living in relative luxury. Yet, there are enough resources for everybody to live peacefully and healthy. If not for the greed ...
