Dis market though

@Dalz made a tweet the other day I felt hit a mark for me.

It made me recall the ugliness of the market last time around, when we were in this same place.

This is something honestly that everyone should be aware of. So much time will pass till we see any actual gains for Hive and whatever mid-low cap tokens you might hold, that you could describe as actually being in a bullmarket. And im not talking 40%-50%.

Every time BTC would pump alts would not follow in any noticeable manner but on every sneeze BTC would have the alts would suffer a pneumonia.

You can even see that now with this most recent pump related to Grayscale "winning" their lawsuit against SEC. A slight retracement after a significant BTC pump hit alts so hard it brought them to pre-pump levels.
Another good example is XRP with Ripple gaining a more significant win over SEC even though it is clear from the lawsuit that a majority of their fund raising was deemed a security offering.
Did anyone report on that in crypto?

NO.

Why? Well because crypto is a cesspool of nonsense, gaslighting and bullshit.
Hive is literally that 1 virgin in Sodom and Gomorrah.

Even XRP lost almost all their gains after the news. The little remained is probably retail being stuck and the "$10000 per XRP" derps drinking the Kool-Aid, selling their last shot of meth for some more "Ripple coin".

It feels odd rooting for Bitcoin from my point of view, seeing it as nothing more than an antique that has a place in a museum, not in the modern world.
A somewhat of a Model T racing against a well maintained, white, 2018 Audi A4 S-line Avant with really sexy 19 inch rims, or a Brewster Green with gold rims Porsche 911 992 Turbo Ssssss. (Now thats a car)

But there really is nothing more to do until BTC comes to surpassing its ATH. We need BTC to cross those lines for alts to come into serious consideration.
Ive always wished for Hive to disconnect from BTC dependence but until we get dapps that focus on attracting outside investment, from legacy markets and not entirely depend on crypto for investment there is no chance for that happening.
Some of our dapps dont care at all about any type of external investment, happy with their DHF income, never realizing their potential in the open market. I find that a wasted opportunity.

Like having a kid with massive potential youre financing throughout their 30s and 40s that never cares to grow up because he doesnt need to. Never realizing their potential in any way.
But dont get me wrong. This is incredibly hard to do. Much larger crypto projects than Hive havent achieved that in any way. I just want to see it be tried.
Try it and fail, you will have my vote. Dont try and I will consistently bitch about it with no effect whatsoever apparently, like right now. 😂

Because therein lies the opportunity. No one has done it. It bodes well if youre the first.

It is what it is I guess.

Anyways. Stay safe and be patient.

You said the thing I say, but different.

The message is valid in any language.

All I got is previous experience and frustrations not yet tapped into. 😂

You have a solid point regarding BTC versus Alt behaviour. I remember being a tat frustrated to see HIVE value dropping against BTC over and over again in the recent year of 2020. Now we are a year earlier in the halving cycle. Monies flows into BTC, it already started and will continue for quite a lenght of time.

BTC, the mothership where (eventually) most of us feel safe. True that, irrespective the fact that BTC cant be anything more than ‘store-of-value’. In the end BTC will be replaced by better stores at better chains. Am afraid the market will take a long time to realise that.

I would love it when dApp teams transform themselves from tech/dev teams into real businesses. Create value, Create income, Use DHF solely for innovation, or not at all.

T Ford = BTC 😆😆😆 Hilarious 😂😂😂

Oh I was raging like a maniac. It was like watching a train pass you by. Good thing I was patient.
Hit me more than the drop in price psychologically.

Being patience is key. Though we need to avoid staying patience for to long. Everything in life has a beginning and an end 🙃

I think the same. HIVE should not have dependence on the price of BTC. HIVE is unique and has triggered the Web3 social media concept. HIVE has a potential to drive this comcept up regardless of the BTC price.

HIVE is unique and has triggered the Web3 social media concept.

That´s the way we see it. But not the world outside our bubble. For normies Web3 must be something where the guys with the deep pockets can profit, otherwise it is rubbish and child´s play.

We will see, you need to detach the sentiment on Hive from that as well. Nothing more difficult is there to achieve than that.

The "killer dapp", rather the killer project is the one that manages it.

The last sentence - nasty! 😁

The Edicted one? Nah, he knows I love him. ❤️

I thought the meth sentence was the bad one. 😂

Buscando estrategia para ganar dinero??'

No. Me gusta perder dinero.😉

I learned this from the last market because six months ago I sold everything in the market and thought it was never going to go up, and six months later things went up so much that I could never go up. Couldn't imagine I wouldn't do that at all. This is a project that we know is very popular and very trusted. Its coin should be hold by all of us.

I just wish Hive would not be like other cryptocurrencies that follow the trends of BTC
I hope that narrative changes
