With the sky-high costs of interacting with the Ethereum network, some are suggesting that ETH should be abandoned in favour of other, cheaper blockchains.
But is it really time to abandon ETH? Will fees always be this high, or is this a temporary phase?

L2 scaling on ETH makes a bit more sense than L2 scaling on Bitcoin. In the end both methods are way harder to implement then L2 scaling on hive.
If they are going to compromise decentralization of layer 1 by using only L2 which are more centralized than hive, there's really no point, it's just harder work for devs.
don't know, but still own a lot, but also into more SOL, AVAX, DOT and other such alts ... even venturing into the Genopets NFT auction on Monday

I'm pretty sure the future will have many blockchains, some working togther, some working on their own. Interoperability will play a key role, very excited to see where PolkaDot leads. Fees are high on ETH but many of the original users are all good with that as they can afford them, to the newbie its a total turn off.
Well I won't suggest it should be abandoned totally because in crypto we should always expect ups and down in the blockchain and kudos to the hive pump up price which is talk of the moment in the hive blockchain

@louisthomas we should abandoned ethereum because from last 5 years all ethereum users are facing same problems so it's time to move forward towards better cheap and fast blockchains as many users already did we moved from ethereum to binance chain
