Hi everyone, this is Lucky Ali, and welcome back to my new Hive passive income post. In my previous post, I shared some important data. Also, check that post first so that you can compare both reports and see the progress. The purpose behind sharing this post is to inspire myself and others to try different passive income sources on Hive; however, this is a risky endeavor, so understand the risk and then invest accordingly. The liquidity pool is risky, but hbd savings is less risky.HBD savings has 15% APR, which is nice because this is a stable coin, so you don't have the risk of losing your investment in USD value. I am investing in a swap.hive/colony liquidity pool for a long time, but has not lost even a single penny. If I had traded, I would have made a loss by now. This proves that liquidity pool investment is less risky than trading. This LP provides 25% APR for now, and that is delicious.
6th staking of SWAP.Hive/Colony liquidity pool
This time, I have invested 2.44+ hive and 3112 colony tokens. This investment is slightly higher than the previous investment. If you are a small investor like me, then you can try this part investment strategy. 25% APR is not less because in traditional finance, we get very little return compared to crypto. After all, there is a mediator like a bank and the government. You have to multiple types of hidden charges, and then you get a return; however, crypto is decentralized means there is no mediator; all the profit is yours and all the loss is yours.
Current Stake balance in COLONY/SWAP.HIVE liquidity Pool
After this staking, now I have a total of 12.544 swap. hive and 15961 colony tokens staked in this liqudiity pool. On the right side, you can see the information like APR, next rewards time, reward ending remaining time, and bonus. Also, my current daily reward will be 22.618 colony tokens per day; earlier, it was 18+ colony tokens, which means there is significant growth in daily reward. I want to be in the top 10 investors of this pool. If the price of Hive increases, we will see significant changes in this reward. Let's see because only time will tell what is going to happen in the future.
My investment strategy for both play-to-earn and passive income
Moonkarts' season-end reward is my main source of colony income, and above you are seeing the arcade colony wallet. I have staked a total of 83458 colony tokens so far, and the season has just ended today, so I will add more within 2-3 days. This time my monnkarts' performance was not very good, so I am not expecting good rewards like before, but still it is better. There are two leaderboards orbital leaderboard and the ranked leaderboard. The ranked leaderboard is important because most tokens came from this source. So it is a longer journey, and the next target is 100k colony tokens staking.
Liquidity pool leaderboard
You can notice one thing here, and that is my rank. Check the previous report from here. In that report, my rank was 53, and currently, I have climbed up and my rank is 50, so this is good progress. I am expecting 45 rank next time. This leaderboard is crucial because it feels like a game for the investors, and it also attracts new investors and pushes old investors to invest more. This is like a badge to get a rank.
My daily dividends from the pool
When I started, I was getting 3+ colony per day, and it's been 2 months, and now my earnings are 18.7 colony tokens. Earnings are gonna increase after this investment. I have checked multiple transactions there are stable dividends, which means the APR is not fluctuating much. Slow and steady growth is nice, and that is what my real target is.
HBD savings investments
I had 0.931 hbd in my wallet, and I have invested that amount for hbd savings. Earlier, I invested 2+ hbd, and now this is my second investment.
HBD is stable stablecoin of the Hive economy and provides 15% APR. For stable growth and safety, hbd savings are a good option.
