I'm an avid Splinterlands player myself, but the truth is that Hive needs something else besides Splinterlands. The game will keep growing, yes, but the ecosystem needs something else: other games, more posts on the social media, more token transactions etc. All those things, together, will bring the RC usage up (together with Splinterlands, of course).
In other words, I don't feel safe that 90% of the transactions on the Hive Blockchain are related to a single app: Splinterlands.

Valid point and while it's great to have splinterlands leading the transactions we do need to see more apps bringing in users and growing.
I do think that leo is doing it too but with a blogging site it's going to be a lot slower growth compared to a game.
Games have a lot more growth potential but it takes years to get to that point and a lot are still in development.

One thing that I'm liking to see is the growth of 3rd-party apps related to Splinterlands, like Rental Bots and Playing Bots.
Yeah, they're related to Splinterlands, but they're NOT Splinterlands themselves. They're new services and platforms being developed on the Hive, using the Blockchain to sell a service to their customers.
