RE: Daily Crypto Markets Live Blog: What Will The Crypto Market Bring This Week (06/27/22)

A little while ago I published a batch of 3 posts which were meant to be scheduled for later dates this week. I thought I had scheduled them for those later dates, yet I see all 3 posts were published this evening.

There is a way to schedule these posts for later, but that's not what happened. So this is a classic case of User Error.

I saw where the date field is, but I didn't see where I could manually modify the hh:mm portion of the datetime. I thought the date I had selected stayed, but it looks as if it didn't.

This was going to be the first time I published a batch of posts on a time-delayed basis using the LeoFinance front-end. It didn't go well. Now I'm afraid of being penalized for spam posting.

I wouldnt worry about it. I dont think many will penalize you. There might be some hits on the Hive side but I dont Leofinance people will get too upset.

There are issues with posting periodically.

Posting periodically will be a major deal once Project Blank goes live-- isn't that one of the major differences between it and regular posting as we've done here so far?

That is why it is important to get it off the top level (blog). Hence the idea of using comments or even Custom JSONs.

A first mistake is pardonable, now that you have learnt, you can be more careful.

I will be more careful, for sure.

Besides attempting to publish a batch of posts at later dates, I had also split one post into 3 parts with its own linked navigation. Retrofitting each post with links isn't a fun task.

I may have been better off doing my usual long-form posting, but I wanted to highlight one aspect in each part of this post.

I have only ever posted a post once, and that was using PeakD, and what do you know, it never even posted!
Oh well at least you have three posts out for people to engage with. These things happen, and I am sure in LF it will not matter. People do seem kind and considerate on this side of the fence.

No matter which front-end we use, sooner or later we get the post which never made it. It's as if the dog ate the homework. Stuff happens, we just have to move on.

Often this happens because the post contains a tag which the community doesn't allow; LeoFinance has a number of tags which make a post rejection-worthy, and (until recently at least) ActiFit was the most common offender. I don't know what the other tags could be, but they are out there.

Oh yes I remember seeing Actifit was a tag that is not allowed on LeoFinance.
