The Unfortunate Incident of my Cub & Polycub Investment

Secret phrases are no new term for fellows in the Cryptocurrency business, although they might be for a beginner. For the beginner's sake, I'd say a few lines about what these phrases are. Almost every crypto website or company requires you to save a secret phrase once an attempt at account creation is made. These phrases are often groups of words arranged in a specific pattern and most time are made available for writing down purposes only. Most crypto apps do not accept screenshots of secret phrases as they expect the user to pen them down in a secure and private location.

Why am I writing this? For once, I feel the need to excuse myself from the class of smart people. Of course, I'd be a smart guy but letting myself fall victim to the unfortunate incidence of losing my trust wallet which has all my cub and polycub investments is something I'm yet to forgive.

Though I did learn the hard way, I see it as some of those careless mistakes in life and I'd strongly hope that making this post will help others not make the same mistake as I did.

Part of the problem is as a new person in the crypto business, one might create several accounts without realizing the process of securing those and when you finally understand the deal, you forget to go back and ensure the security of your account. This is the situation associated with the loss of my Cub and Polycub investment. It's however, an eye-opener for me which I'd hope others could learn from.

My Advice
People should re-visit the location they stored their secret phrases to ensure the security of their accounts. I did think mine was secure not until I had a crash on my mobile phone leading to the loss of my data. It really doesn't hurt to cross-check every now and then to make sure ones investment doesn't waste.
