I just moved back to Australia just over a month ago! It's weird, everything is familiar but different... So much changed over the 15 years that we lived away!
What brought you back? These are certainly tumultuous times everywhere, I can't imagine trying to make such a big move now. I see you're settling in and have managed to get a house.
We came to Aus over 13 years ago now. We visited England just 4 years after we left and so much had changed even in that short time.
Family... it always is family! Europe was good to us, and we loved it there. But eventually, you need to choose to where to make your home!
