This Hive Life

On this day 5 years ago(2 days ago), I unknowingly walked into something that changed my life, Steemit - now Hive, I remember my first few posts, I remember my interests in poetry and art, I remember my first real connections, my first upvote, lol, my first withdrawal! My first year! A journey of a thousand mile begins with one step they say, I guess it’s true.

Now here I am with two important dates in my life, with the first one being my birth to this earth and the other being my birth on Hive,.

I’m super grateful to all the people who I’ve connected to and with in this journey, you all made it worth it, your interests in this space, your comments and hands of friendship, fellow writers and their various creative talents putting in work to express everyday, the builders who make using the technology fun and easy, I’m super grateful.

Hive has given me so much to be grateful for! a lot of time, I feel like I’m in a simulation, but with each year that passes by the simulation becomes more real, it got to the point where I had to get used to understanding the fact that this world is full of many realities, and it’s okay, people are quick to doubt Hive, it is my own reality, it fulfills the ideals of what Web 3 entails in my opinion, especially as I’ve been living that Hive reality for 5 years, I’m a walking testament that Hive works, I use Hive everyday,

So what’s next? Those who read my posts know I’ve been all about relocating for a while now, it’s a very important step for me and one that’ll launch me into the next stage of my life and expression of my talents. I’ve envisioned the next couple of years as the time to play the investing game fervently, time to begin to put all I’ve learned into action.

This post feels incomplete in my head, like there’s a lot more I’ll like to say but if I keep waiting till it is, the year May run out with me still waiting.
