My journey in the Frontier format continues in Splinterlands, and today I decided to evolve my Great Bear Druid card to the maximum level.
Foundation cards are currently very cheap, and unlike cards from other editions, Foundation cards are much easier to level up.

The Great Bear Druid is a legendary card from the neutral deck, and to reach its maximum level I only need 3 of them. Legendary cards from other editions have 4 levels, and to reach the maximum level you need 11 cards.

Currently, the Great Bear Druid is only costing $0.04 on the market, and this price is extremely low for a legendary card, so I decided to make a small investment and buy 3 of them because I really like using this card in my battles. I was using the Soulbound version of the Great Bear Druid that I received by completing the Campaign mode in Splinterlands.
In total, I spent 236 DEC to buy the 3 Great Bear Druid cards.
If you're not yet familiar with Campaign mode in Splinterlands and want to receive Foundation cards to start your journey in the Frontier format for free, then I recommend you read this post: Explaining How the Frontier Format Works in Splinterlands.

To evolve your cards in Splinterlands is very simple, you just need to select the number of cards you're going to use to make the combination and click on the Combine Cards option.

After doing this, the cards will be combined, and if you combine enough cards, then your card will level up.
I combined 3 Great Bear Druid cards, and that was the amount I needed for it to reach level 2, which is the maximum level for this card.
The Great Bear Druid doesn't have abilities, but in my opinion, it's still one of the best cards in the Foundation edition, and I say this because I've used it several times, and it was one of the main reasons I achieved victory in battle.
I'll soon be evolving my other Foundation cards, but first I want to see if I can do it using only the reward cards I receive playing the Frontier format. The Great Bear Druid was an exception because it's not easy to get legendary cards, and it will be very useful for me to reach higher leagues.

Now I'll talk about the Arcade Colony platform. On it, you'll find the games: Splinterlands, Moon Karts, StakeHouse Den and Genesis League Goals.
For those unfamiliar with Arcade Colony, it's owned by Invennium Corp. Arcade Colony is a platform for arcades and video games with a functional economy based on a governance token, "COLONY", and a product-backed stablecoin called "SCRIPT".
Invennium Corp. is a 100% subsidiary of Splinterlands.
