Yes, selling things while they're down just to move into something else that is down usually ends up just whittling away peoples' funds. If you can find a way to use fiat to get these things while they're cheap using outside money, you don't need to invest a ton to get a LOT in return. As I pointed out with PolyCUB, $150 has the potential to be $10k down the road if it does what the team thinks it can do. Seems like a pretty good risk/reward ratio to me.
