I have been busy exploring my idea of setting up Crypto BNB in Sri Lanka. Therefore my activities with Hive has reduced lately.
Thanks @ecoinstant for putting up this proposal to bring liquidity to $HBD and coming up with another solution to t stabilise the price of HBD.

Already voted for it. It is one of the best proposals I have seen. If this becomes successful the next thing I want to see is THORchain proposal to start off easy trading between other blockchain assets. There will have to be $300,000 USD worth HIVE or HBD pooled up to start things out based on my basic research. If @ecoinstant could pull it off, it will be a major help for HIVE price appreciation.

I voted for the proposal. Hopefully the witnesses will keep (or maybe even increase) the 12% APR interest.
I hope that I can earn enough money in the next 9-10 months to be able to buy an RV. Nowadays the cheapest RV in my country (in Hungary) is around $3000 USD, and I currently have $971 HBD in savings, so I need to earn $2029 HBD to reach this goal, assuming that $1 HBD is $1 USD.
This way I could get out of the financial discrimination, because I will not have to pay high rent and the also high regular monthly bills.
I am very grateful and very happy for every help and support.

I voted for this proposal a good HBD pool would be amazing for HBD.
However... Another viable option if whales are ok with it is to just use a large HDF proposal and put that money itself into the pool and have it and keep it in a multi-sig wallet or something with a few trusted block producers then the .25% fees will go back to the fund itself as it compounds it inside the pool.
One of the big things that pool needs is a cheaper way to get money in and out.
Do you use beeswap? If we get this funded I bet we can get @gerber motivated to do a discount HBD bridge through beeswap.
I think that if the interest rate is increased a liitle more, there could be much more HBD transferred to savings by users.

It definitely a good idea to maintain the stability of the coin in the blockchain
Best way to increase the liquidity is to increase the APY. They will automatically invest in pool. May be reward their own token by investing in pool
I voted for it when I saw his post about it. We need to have more liquidity options available for people and it will allow people to arbitrage so the $1 peg should hold better.

Voted I think it could bring a little more stability to the token which still just isn't there yet. If it actully help that $1 peg and only moved 2-3 cents I think we would have a pretty stable option that people would be much more inclined to use.

Just looked it over. Yes this is a good idea. Just what happens if too many people want 12% interest? That is very good. What if it goes viral, and you have people from all over the world flooding into HBD savings? Not too many "stable coins" have such a good return. In fact I don't know of any with a return like that. I haven't voted yet due to this concern.
After reading the dhf doc. This jumped out at me and I'd like a better explanation.
"This proposal can be easily expanded in the future to target any level of liquidity we desire."
So they can target any level...but that doesn't mean they can get any level to my understanding.
In Ecuador you can get about 8-10% interest in a USD account. It's wildly popular down there and the interest rates are high there for lending and borrowing for the system to work. The liquidity is a non issue, we re talking dollars and entire country of economic activity.
I'd just hate to see this 12% hbd implode on itself if it can't support a surprisingly large flood of investment. I think further examination on my part or explanation regarding where the inteest comes from and the liquidity would be necessary to get me support.
