I have the feeling that sooner than later there's gonna be a decoupling between Bitcoin and alts and that's when Bitcoin might dump, but alts still perform. Like in the case of Hive, if you have airdrops or staking incentives you don't sell, it's that simple. So far crypto was more about buying low and selling high, but now with gaming and everything we have at hand and in the process of developing, things are going to change.
Some get worried and lose, while others profit with their courage and smart behavior! Whenever I got emotional in trading, I usually lost. When I act wisely and stay calm, I have never lost. In short, not everyone can make a profit.

Everyone knows that HODL is the key to make big money in crypto market but this human nature is so cruel. It starts giving you panic attacks and you just want to sell and get your money whatever is left.
This looks easier option but we should remember that the Bear market of 2018 to 2020 almost wiped 75% of the gains in 2017 but we all know what happened in 2021. The market just exploded and given more than 10X or 30X gains for some coins.
So Lets just HODL
20% drop? That is nothing. Nowadays I am handling more than 55% drop in the value of my Splinterlands card collection from more than $900 USD to around $500 USD. This price collapse was started after the arrival of the Chaos Legion. I guess it lives up to its name. It indeed brought chaos to the prices. I am still not selling my cards. I even bought some. I believe in the Splinterlands project. I am playing it since 2018.12.30.

I didn't even take cognizance of the dump, its probably because of the fact that i'm expecting Ragnarock and SPK, it's still exciting times for hive despite the dump.
There is a rumour that the drop is linked to the goings-on in Kazakhstan.
Apparently a lot of bitcoin miners moved there because electricity is cheap there. Mobs make anyone with assets nervous. Then the internet went down in Kazakhstan last night interfering with mining. Any miner with a satellite phone out there would have connected to an exchange and sold btc for dollars with a view to fleeing.
If the drop is Kazakhstan-related, we've probably seen all the selling we were going to see, last night.
This right here is me, past and present. I had 1BTC when it was worth a little over $2,000 and I possessed a short-term mindset then, took uncalculated risks, and lost it all. Currently, I've grown from that experience, I have learned and I am still learning to HODL what I believe in especially in the crypto sense of it.
I found you through a friend's post and I find your blog quite fascinating. There is a lot to read, watch and learn from. I curiously look forward to your future experiments, invaluable information, and additions on Hive.

It’s not hard to handle a 20% drop, but it’s not 20% drop at all, it soon be halving or even worse! Are you prepared to HODL stronger than ever? For instance Splinterlands is already lost 2/3 of its value, its not uniqe the market reshape!

Trading is a two thing is either a coin pumps or it dumps, most people don’t have the patience of seeing a coin the are holding dump. Once the coin starts dumping they immediately sell and afterwards they start regretting why they sold early because the coin did not dump much and the pumped again.
I never get angry at a dump because si look at things based on the potential value of the coin.
I actually bought some more BTCs.. U gave an order for hive too

I've been looking at it since 2017, When the market goes down, different questions arise in the minds of the people. They just keep panic. But one thing to keep in mind is that this will continue to happen in the world of cryptocurrency. We just have to have faith and if we have faith it will be possible to get something better in the future.
