Honey is dangerous sometimes!

🙏🙏🙏A little honey has ruined his health 😔

✅Clostridium botulinum toxin poisoning from honey 👇

In a nutshell

This boy was chubby, with a healthy weight and height… in perfect health.
His parents didn’t have to worry about anything.
One month… two months… six months… everything was fine.

In the eighth month, his mother brought him a little honey from a neighbor, who told her, “Honey is good for babies.”
She didn’t know any better… but the moment she dipped her finger and gave him a tiny taste…

Not even an hour later…

The boy became completely silent — no crying, no movement.
His eyes looked downcast, his body limp, and his face slowly started to change color…

And he didn’t want to breastfeed…

His mother felt like the child in her arms had become lifeless.
She rushed him to the emergency room, and the doctor told her she had made a grave mistake.

Do you know what honey can do to babies?

This child developed a toxic infection called infant botulism, which is a very serious condition.
It often occurs in babies under the age of one who are given honey.

The cause is a type of bacteria called Clostridium botulinum.
This bacterium can be present as spores in honey. It doesn't harm adults, but when it enters a baby’s intestines, it can cause severe problems.

A baby’s digestive system is not yet fully developed, especially the gut flora (the good bacteria that protect the intestines from illness).

As soon as the baby was given that drop of honey, the spores entered his system, found the perfect environment in his intestines, and began to multiply — releasing very dangerous toxins.

These toxins attack the nerves that carry signals to muscles, leading to paralysis.

The result:

The baby’s body becomes completely limp

He refuses to breastfeed

Becomes suddenly quiet

His eyes close

His body lies still like a corpse

If it progresses, breathing is affected, the baby starts to suffocate, and his face color changes

This condition requires immediate emergency care, mechanical ventilation, and ICU monitoring.
If not treated promptly, the outcome can be tragic (infant death).

⚠️ Honey is strictly forbidden for babies under one year old.
Even a single drop can be fatal.

Oh my God give life and good health back to this child. May the mothers ignorance not lead to something really unfortunate.
Oh I only can imagine how trumertized the mother would be seeing her baby in this state and feeling responsible for it.
