2023 was an interesting year for Web 3 enthusiasts, and 2024 is promising to be an even more exciting year. I want to wish a Happy New Year to everyone reading this post. You made it into the new year (2024). This is your first step towards accomplishing all you can ever imagine. You are one of the lucky ones who made it into the new year, and with that comes the responsibility to make use of this opportunity and achieve great things.
So maybe last year wasn't a great year for you on Hive and crypto (in general), 2024 is another chance for you to make amends, and don't give me the excuse that you tried your best. If you do, then try again until you achieve your goal. The aim here is never to give up on yourself. That's the first step towards success.
In 2023 when I returned to Hive, I had close to nothing. Most of the relationships I had fostered over the years were almost non-existent. Many of the people I met here had moved on, and coming back seemed like I was regressing. However, I took a leap of faith and decided to give Hive another shot, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of 2023. So what I am saying in essence is that there is never a time too late to start again and give yourself another shot at accomplishing something great. It doesn't matter how many times you fail; you need to pick yourself back up and try again.
The other thing you need to do, and it is the simplest and hardest thing at the same time, is to be passionate about what you do. The question here is: how much do you want it? How much do you want to achieve your Hive/Crypto goal? What are you willing to do to achieve all you have set out to do in the Web 3 space in 2024? These are the important questions you should be asking yourself daily for the rest of the year. You should have these questions printed out and put in strategic places in your space so you see them every day, and they make you think about your Web 3 goals.
Lastly, be consistent. This is probably the most talked-about tip in the Web 3 space, and it almost seems watered down, but it is true. One key way of showing that you want to achieve your Web 3 goals is by showing up every day. It might be on Web 3 spaces or writing on writing platforms like Inleo. I love to write because it gives me clarity (and some tokens) about the things I want to achieve, and I get to network with other people in the space.
In addition to showing up, you must do so in the right places. What many Web 3 gurus fail to mention is that showing up isn't enough. They are people who have been active this year but have not accomplished any of their goals. This is because they show up in the wrong places, helping others build their platforms. Now don't get me wrong; there is nothing bad about helping other people accomplish their goals, but you must also prioritize yourself.
So make time to find the right community to join and contribute meaningfully. No one succeeds in this space alone. You need to connect with other people to achieve your goals while simultaneously helping the community accomplish its goals.
ACTIONABLE STEPS YOU CAN TAKE RIGHT NOW TO ACCOMPLISH YOUR WEB 3 GOAL.
