I think most of the functionalities of hive (the first layer) will move to the second layer. So for instance, blogging as an integral part of the hive blockchain might shift to second layer platforms like leofinance, proof of brain and vyb. The current duplicity amongst social is quite unnecessary (it just creates more income streams for people). It's only a matter of time before people start clamouring for change and in this instance, it means stopping hive from being a reward token. I think we will start having that debate soon.
I encourage people to explore both sides, social and gaming. The risk is marginal.

I think I've seen it recently, it wasn't there in the past. I saw how POB pummeled sometimes ago do to some controversial disagreement. The human aspect to the chain needs to have a single standard and not rogue reactions on what is and what shouldn't be.
This is probably the best, especially going forward. The year is new and this sort of diversification is the goal for me.
