The switch to a Twitter format has been way too confusing imo. Hope they consider having both the long form and short form formats on separate sites.

I completely agree. The previous UI was perfectible and sometimes a mess. But there was a place for it in the ecosystem.
And the URL does not make sense anymore for Leo threads.
