I don't know if Web2 can even handle the amount of disruption that AI and robotics will bring. Tons of new data and tools will be available to the public soon. There will be a need for specialized products. Web2 has difficulty protecting these types of content, but with the blockchain, the power is given to the owner.

Web 2.0 will simply merge in just like Web 1.0. The question is what happens to Web 2.0 companies. I sense that is what you are referring to. Some might adapt but many will be squashed.
