In truth, even the twitter ban couldn't really stick because all every one did was get a VPN and you are back to it. But the audacity to ban a network was heightened by the centralised nature of the network as the Nigerian government seemed to have an individual to hold responsible and blame for all their problems.

I guess with Hive, it would be a lot difficult, and since we all own the network together and it's and incentivised network, people would be less willing to cower to a governments whim especially as it affects their means of livelihood.
