Oppenheimer sees S&P500 at 7100 in 2025!

16.7 % return

What will the S&P500 do in 2025, that is probably the most asked question, besides what will Bitcoin do in 2025. And it is a hard one to answer, most fund houses have a different opinion. But the one I read by Oppenheimer really stood out. They expect the S&P to rise to 7100 points in 2025. That is a rise of 16.7 % as of the price of today. That would just prolong the bullrun of the stock market as we have seen it since the end of 2020.

And I think they could be very right.
Head strategist at Oppenheimer, John Stoltzfus sees the AI revolution as the key to the growth of next year. He considers the current AI evolution as disruptive as the introduction of cars in the 1920's. So tech stocks will carry the most of the load according to him.

More bullish reasons

There are more reasons to be very bullish on the stock market for 2025. A lot of companies have announced a huge stock buy back plan. A whopping 1.5 trillion USD worth of stocks is bound to be bought back by the large caps.
And then there is president Trump. He stands for deregulation, and that is always appreciated by the stock markets. Even though his protectionism and the tariffs could make profits turn out a bit lower, it would still feed the frenzy on the stock markets.

All in all, the future for the investor seems quite bright, especially the near future!

Sincerely,
