Beyond the rewards, I haven't stopped posting on STEEMIT, because maybe my problem of getting detached from things, of ending some relationships, is working. It's like when you know a relationship is wrong, but you keep fighting to get it out there. However, I'm not blind and like you I've seen the number of Korean publications that are on trend and many of them pay for those positions. It's sad to see the house fall or the ship sink. We'll be inside when that time comes? I need a light! Hugs for you, buddy.

It took me a week to detach, it's hard to let go, but once I did I purged it. No regrets. I'm so thankful that Hive kept a backup of all of our posts which we put so much effort making :)
I miss Steemit from 2 years ago, it was full of activity and contests and quite fun. It was overflowed with positivity (at least from people I followed).

Hive to the moon 🚀

I have a feeling that the Korean's will reluctantly leave STEEM sooner or later.

Actually it was a matter of time steem was taken over, since people only focused the exchange rate. Trying to control exchange can be done with euros by banks and corporations.

Also smaller cryptos can be manipulated in exchanges by the rich, if the focus is to get rich fast. Those are all scams, unless one gets crazy lucky.

Have been preaching about not making the same mistake again, the developers can start a new platform, if greed kills this one too.

It is interesting, that not many people think in resources instead of price tags. Personally enjoy a comment more, than upvotes, since it shows effort.

I am still cross posting on both platforms, but my main goal on Steem now is to just get curation rewards. I have set up some autovotes so I can hopefully just sit back and collect on some of those Korean authors. It is interesting that they are the ones who were trying to be the mediators and now they seem to be profiting the most from it. It's funny you wrote this because I noticed that very thing about the trending page the other day.
