$tip keeps social interaction going, but I’m in pain for being too careful.

Crypto space and its products never seize to amaze me with how often projects evolves here and there. About three weeks ago, I found myself quietly scrolling through my Twitter timeline when I stumbled upon a project named $tip by @tipcoinEth on X. Let me say this, on first look, this project immediately caught my attention. I must admit, I've been quite skeptical about crypto projects because they are almost all full of scams, However, something about $tip kept dragging me closer. Could it be the brand name ? Well, I was sure. I went down the rabbit hole of exploration.

The very first unque thing I discovered was that. $tip wasn't just another Twitter account with a verified badge; it was a verified official organization on X. Although, This discovery alone wasn’t enough to convince me that this isn’t just another scam project but my mind just got settled with it and to be honest, It definitely added a layer of trust, and I decided to get involved.

Fast forward to a few days before the project's launch, it came and the project got listed on a few too cryptocurrency exchanges (CEX). I opened my app and saw how fast the price was moving, a sense of caution began to creep in. Also, for I know that cryptocurrency market is known for its wild volatility, especially for newly launched tokens like $tip. I watched the price teetering between $0.0003 and 0.00029

The temptation to jump in with 50% of my funds was strong. It seemed like an opportunity for me but at the same time, I wasn’t ready to buy it and leave it while I go to bed. Well, I would have made use of StopLoss but I was sure that would hit faster than I could think of because of how the price was moving.

When the price dropped to $0.00029 I felt a sense of relief for not succumbing to FOMO (Fear of Missing Out). Afterwards, I decided to call it a night and went to bed without purchasing any $tip tokens.

However, I never knew the next morning would be a day full of regrets. When I woke up and checked the price, I was greeted with a staggering $0.0009 for a $tip.

In my frustration for missing out, I took to Twitter to express my remorse: "I regret not buying $tip last night. I was being too careful. Now, I missed out and pained. @tipcoinEth."

@tipcoinEth is currently in third and last phase of Epoch Time where users who tweets using $tip and mentioned them gets $tip points. They’ve also set up their website so that anyone who replies , quote or got a quote also earns points. They literally wants to take social media interactions to another level.

Missed opportunities are very painful most times.

So, what’s the lesson from my experience? First and foremost, it’s no news that cryptocurrency market is nearly unpredictable and one mustn’t get caught on one’s emotions.

I also want to point out that a verified organisation on X platform could be a sign of a legit project but that shouldn’t be all one should look out for when checking out of legit projects on the space.
