The DePIN sector has been trending during the first half of 2024 and shows no signs of cooling. DePIN is expected to expand significantly for the remainder of the decade. Furthermore, many DePIN projects are incorporating AI, another hot sector expected to outperform the altcoin benchmark in this bull market. A recent DePIN project to garner significant attention and adoption is Grass.
Grass incorporates AI into its model, as does Birdbyte. As always, a project that is first to incorporate groundbreaking technologies will always be followed by many newer projects attempting to do the same thing. In most cases, the first to arrive usually secures dominance. However, it’s not a rule. Early adopters of Grass have been able to run the desktop application, simultaneously earning points in anticipation of a Grass airdrop.
These points are currently being sold on Whales Market, a pre-market marketplace. In other words, point or token holders can sell their holdings before they are listed on DEXs and CEXs. This is achieved by utilizing a smart contract, where the seller has to provide collateral equivalent to the value requested for their points or tokens.
Once this deal is confirmed and executed, the seller will receive the agreed price and the collateral they initially provided. The presale is currently in Round 2 with a token price of $0.02.
In the next phase, the token price will be increased by 25% and cost $0.025. When BIRDB tokens will be available to trade on exchanges, the listing price will be $0.07. The presale will end with Round 5. This will be followed by DEX and CEX listings.
