You earn #Ecency Points through the following:
Posting: 15 Points for first post, then decreases by 25% for every succeeding post.
Commenting: 5 Points for the first post, then decreases by 6.67% for every succeeding comment.
Voting: 0.1 times the voting power used for the first vote, then decreases by 10% for every succeeding vote. For example, you voted at 50% for your first vote, and 80% at your second vote. Your first vote will be rewarded with 0.5 Ecency Points, while your second vote will be rewarded with 0.8*0.9 = 0.72 Ecency Points.
Heartbeat: You earn 0.25 Ecency Points every 15 minutes Ecency.com is open on your web browser or native app.
Reblogging: You earn 1 Ecency Point for your first reblog per day, and decreases for succeeding reblogs throughout the day. (Since I rarely reblog, I was not able to track the Points rewards for this.)
Daily Bonus: You earn 10 Ecency Points per day for logging in.
The percent decreases for posting, commenting, voting, and reblogging resets to 100% on the next day.
