It does make sense if either you know nothing about plagiarism and its moral dilemma or the system is too big to police.

When I was out at sea for extended periods of time with reduced food inventory I would see normally moral and upright people do things that would boggle the mind. Theft also became a concern. One of my bosses told me to keep honest men honest by locking my belongings. Removing the temptation normally aligns someone with the standard of operation.

In Hive's case, the user justifies their actions by receiving payment for their, or in this case other's work. If no one is there to tell them that they're wrong, then their behavior gets justified.

Clearly, it's not something we agree with, but it's something we have to address along the way.
