It is indeed difficult to convert folks. I think early on the whole Silk Road debacle soured people toward Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general.

It is similar when I speak to my older sister. She has no problem with mainstream pharmaceuticals, but the subject of more natural treatments (specifically cannabis which I use medicinally) puts her off.

Deep held beliefs are hard to change.
