I was a little sceptical when Threads was 1st introduced.
I felt it had potential and I tried is off and on, but something with the interface just didn't click with me.
During this time I have continued to build on Hive but I have struggled to do posts ad Long form is something I always put off.
A little while ago LeoFinance went through a rebrand and a relaunch with InLeo.
There is a new rewards system etc.. but none of this interested me.
So I once again tried to use threads. Over the last week. I have been logging into threads and checking the Latest tab to see what people are posting.
I enjoy this because if the post is recent we can normally have a little real-time back and forth.
So now when I am online I have threads open to the Latest tab no matter what I am doing.
So how has this changed Hive for me?
Well it has let me talk and meet other Hivians.
The other night @scaredycatguide was threading from a flight to Vegas. We had just been at a conference out their a month or so back and seeing this let me chat with him.
and If i would have had the time i could have hopped on a flight to meet him. This is a type of interaction old Hive (lets call it that now) did not offer.
A day later @forkyishere posted he was attending a conference here in Denver Colorado on threads.
I saw this and responded. Once again this would not have happened on Old Hive.
After seeing each other online, in discord, virtual conferences.
We were able to meet up and have an in-person meal and drinks.
This was amazing thing to see a fellow Hivian post on threads they are flying into my state and being able to meet and chat.
Old Hive could not do that.
So do you Thread ??

Hive is changing whether the old guard wants it to or not.
Yes. Hive gets better and stronger everyday.
I know there are also other projects on thier way.
I tried it too, but I hardly got any interactions.
So I will more focus on the Ecency Waves.
I have not spent time on Ecency Waves.
I will check it out.
I think Threads will pick up, also I think when you get premium and create good lists and join good #'s Hashtags and communities it helps.

Only today I am breading a bit... damn... this week was crazy! Still one more last trip tomorrow and then I am done.
But indeed the flexibility of this allows the community to start interacting a lot more.
Indeed it is amazing yet not for the old guard... they will get on here and wonder why it does not work for them... well those whale auto votes you get from your friends don't work on threads :P indeed for real users and is a game changer! !PIMP
