RE: Broken foundations, buy signals and rollerskates

in LeoFinance4 years ago

The skate rink (the recreation center all kinds of sports) was the place to be on a Saturday night. I ma from a small town where nothing much really ever happened and there was zero for young people to do - which is why rollerskaters could feel special ;D

I remember Airborne.....just.

What was their reply?

A silent pause, and then a change of subject to the next misinformed point. People read the Financial Times and think they know what is going on in the economy.

That's like reading the New York Times and thinking you know what's going on from a neutral perspective! You should go back and revisit that old movie and get some good 'ol Americana! It may surprise you a bit. We had our skating rink called 'Mid-Cities' because it was between my hometown and the next one over! It was out in the middle of nowhere and the bladers were like the cool ones and the old school folks were the roller-skate types that were hanging on the 70's. Good times!
