I think so. I reckon you will likely remove it, but it will be nice to have some comparison posts in the first weeks. It will also be nice to see what happens over time in regards to vote timing. Most posts get the majority in the first few hours anyway, but large voters often vote late. Might be worth tracking pre- and post- voting habits of some of the curation projects too. I think some of the poor curation initiatives will actually benefit form this, as they just vote to maximize after 5 minutes ow anyway. The ones that are actualy trying however, they cyurate posts that are days old.
