It is true, HIVE is real money. We can use it as an asset to generate more HIVE which can be converted to whatever fiat currency we want.
At the same time, by being active throughout the year, we can add to the pool either in HIVE payouts or via HE tokens that we convert to HIVE.
Either way, we can directly influence how quickly we ascend up the ladder.

I agree. Being active can also generate returns. However, the same principle applies. If we are timid in investing into Hive, our rewards will be just as small. We need to overcome the hesitation to power up as much as we can afford.
