Yesterday, while taking a look at my Exodus wallet, a desktop crypto wallet that I mainly toy around with every now and then, I noted the name Doge on there. I wasn't aware that this mooning meme coin - fueled by Elon Musk's rocket power - had been on there but it made me smile.
I'm not sure if it's a recent development. Dogecoin has been on my radar for a while ( and logically so ) and I missed its latest massive 10x pump to the top 10, in marketcap, of all crypto currency.
It's currently sitting in 12th position, making fun of a lot of big coins that worked hard for years to make it to the top.
To make a long story short, I decided to get myself some Doge, yesterday. To do so, I exchanged about 50 Euros worth of Balancer to almost 1500 Doge.
I don't expect huge gains on this trade. I feel Doge is already way higher than it deserves to be but I'm looking forward to some virtual popcorn time. This time, whenever Musk tweets about Doge coin, I will be able to not just watch from the sidelines but - instead - I will be able to look at my bunch of Doge-s ( pronounce doggies ), smiling my way towards even greater abundance. And, even if I don't make any profit on this, it has been worth the fun.
Today I felt inspired to make some Doge NFT art in Paint. Without intending to do so, the coin ended up looking like a planet ( Elon, did you inspire me to do so? ) surrounded by stars.

It's up to you, but if I could chose between owning a meme coin and a unique artwork of the do-ge that inspired this meme coin, I wouldn't hesitate ;<)
