I think we are seeing the emergence of a super structure made of three forks of three different graphene based blockchains. Hive being a fork of steem, Telos a fork of eos (which also has evm support), and Peerplays which is a fork of bitshares.
Add to this the HAF and I see a sort of graphene OS with hive at its core. For me hive is the center piece because of fast free transactions (peerplays and telos both have fees methinks) and built in social media. The HAF makes it easy for web2 devs to jump in by turning blockchain transactions into SQL operations that any web dev is familiar with. Peerplays will provide bridges, IBC functionality, a DEX and much more. Telos provides both eos and evm support which provides us a huge software library to draw from and an entry point to our ecosystem for apps and app developers from these two communities.
A perfect storm is brewing...
