The gap between you and your dreams is covered through putting in the work and taking actions. Most dreams are lofty, its just human nature. We tend to live in a fantasy world in our minds. Reality has taught us that different laws apply here. Here to get something you have to strive for it.
I won’t say lofty dreams are bad because they energize the person through providing inner strength to pursue and bring them to reality. If there isn’t a bit of a challenge it wouldn’t be exciting! However, once the dream is set and you’re working towards achieving it, the first reality check often comes as a hard knock that takes your breath away.
If you manage to pass that stage and keep going, things catch up and your dream starts to take shape. That’s the topic of this article the mistake we make when the dream starts to take shape.
Everyone is a genius in a bull market because this is the time when the markets are green and all assets are on an uptrend. So it’s easy to say this or that asset is going to go up. The market is ‘tipsy’ and we’re all having a happy time. On the other side of the spectrum, people like Warren Buffet are ‘fearful’ because the majority of people are greedy. We're currently in a bear market, are you greedy or fearful?
The same thing more or less happens when our dreams start to take shape. We exaggerate our capabilities thinking that now we’ve made it. Things will continue to take shape by itself and we don’t need to put any more work. This is the moment we get too comfortable. If you’re an artist, you think you’re a superstar now, a legend and you don’t need to go practice your craft anymore. Instead you go partying. living the life.
The problem is that we live the dream too early after just tasting a little bit of success.
Nothing Is Guaranteed
Of course, if you stop putting in the work your dream won’t continue to take shape. Rather it begins to fade. Many people learn it the hard way though it’s actually obvious. You stop lifting weights, your muscles stops growing.Nothing is really guaranteed. As far as you haven’t reached there, you haven’t reached there no matter how much you think you’ve reach there. But we behave like we reach there. That’s why we never reach there. Rather we’re brought back to the starting line, having to build again.
On the flip side, don’t live the dream too late. Otherwise you won’t enjoy much. I guess everything in life works well when it is balanced.

STOP
you are so on point, when some people taste a little bit of success it get into their head and stop them from pursuing greater height, i remember there was a time i stopped playing splinterlands for some reasons and by the time i resume again, i was already losing my skills but the moment i started playing again, things became normal... it applies to every thing we do in life, if we stop doing them, we lose the skills
Exactly! Once you stop and get too comfortable, you start losing it.
Success can sometimes be an enemy if you let it get into your head early on.
Yes dear. You are right. Dreams most be brought to reality. One most strive to make it happen.
Thanks for sharing.
Indeed. You have to cover the gap by taking action!

It is important to keep focus on the price not letting the little wins distract us from the main goal.

Exactly! Always keeping the main goal in mind no matter the small wins (or losses) one has.
