RE: How and When to Withdraw your Hive Earnings: A Newbie Guide

in LeoFinance3 years ago

Ok this is brilliant and exactly what I’ve been looking for! I’ve been on hive since January and have managed to earn a decent amount but I’m keen to look at withdrawing “some” hive at the end of the year. I also already downloaded the Binance app and wasn’t sure how to use it. So this is perfect!

Thanks so much!!!

Withdrawing after a year, I'm sure you'll be getting a lot. 😁 I suggest converting some of your HBD to HIVE when HIVE price is low and transferring it to your savings. Better yet, power up some of your earnings and schedule a few weeks of powering down near the end of the year.
You're welcome and thanks for the reblog!

Thank you! Another question. How long does it take to power down? I’ve never done that either. I’ve literally just been allowing it to grow.

Powering down converts your HP into HIVE and you will be receiving 1/13th of your available HP every week.
You'll choose what percentage of your available HP you want to power down. Available HP is your total HP minus your delegated HP.
For example, you'll be powering down 100% of your available HP. Each week starting from a week after you executed the power down, you'll be receiving HIVE equivalent to 1/13th of your total available HP. This will continue for 13 weeks (converting all your starting available HP into HIVE) or until you stop the power down.
I hope I explained it well.

Yup all good thanks!
