New Suzuki Ignis Hybrid 2021 Review

Everyone has been hard at working contributing to the @planetauto community, and we thought we'd show our new friends exactly what we do by sharing the latest car review we've just premiered on YouTube.

Presenting the Suzuki Ignis SZ5 Allgrip, meaning offroading capabilities and 4x4.

Our model is top of range and costs around £18k mind you this NCAP5 unlike the other trims thanks to it's additional safety including dual camera brake support and collision detection.

This is the facelift and as you'll see from the review not much has changed since the pre facelift, the main addition is a new grille much like the Jimny.

The Ignis is powered by a 1.2litre 16V engine combined with a MHEV system and even with me driving it hard it still returned over 50mpg, meaning on an economy run it would achieve closer to 70.

This is ultimate quirky ultra compact SUV, it stands tall literally with the help of it's Kei car characteristics, yet drives well and feels planted and punchy enough for an engaging drive on a back road.

Now it's practical seats fold down etc, but on top of that the rear seats recline and slide individually too.

The hybrid system has been uprated since the pre facelift with a bigger battery output, this enhances the driving experience and makes the drive smoother, it even makes a difference climbing hills.

There's lots to love about the new Ignis, why not drive one and find out?

Me gustaría conocer tanto de autos como ustedes. Voy a tener que leerlos mas a menudo y comprar revistas de mecánica automotriz, donde seguramente escribirán sobre este tipo de temas.

I wish I knew as much about cars as you do. I'm going to have to read you more often and buy auto mechanics magazines, where you will surely write about this kind of topics.

thank you @oizaguirres

Hope we get the hybrid in Australia.

Yes that would be good, it's a way better powertrain with this uprated system, thank you @j85063
