[Week 140] My time capsule is ready!

[Week 140] My time capsule is ready!

@galenkp ask:
**You have the opportunity to leave three of your personal items in a time capsule to be buried then dug up in two hundred years from today. What do you put in there and why? How do you feel people of the future will interpret your items? Answer in at least 300 words and use photos you personally took if possible.**
I answer:

My passport would be my first selection. This would be a good testimony that I was a real person and would give reliable information about my data. What would you say about me? Surely when you pass each one of the pages and observe that they are blank, that there is not even a single stamp, you could say: "Poor man, he was never able to leave his country. Could it be that he had financial problems? " 🤔 And there goes then my second selection.😉

A low nomenclature bill used in the country where I live. I believe that in the year 2223 there will be many more means of payment than the "archaic" banknotes (and I hope that the HIVE and the HBD) will be one of the main ones). So after providing a sample of the means of payment that are there now they will be able to say: "This guy could barely keep the least valuable bill he would have at the time. Yes, he sure was in financial trouble!"🤣 And then will come my third selection.🤓

My Leones del Caracas flannel.🦁 It is an original jersey of the most winning team in the Venezuelan baseball league.⚾️ A friend of mine gave it to me. I am sure that after a couple of centuries it will still be the most champion and will be known in history, so they will conclude: "He may not have been rich, but at least he liked baseball and had good taste. "👍 And so I don't look so bad.💪

In short, I would like to place unrelated things that not only serve a historical value, but, as we were asked, say something about me. With three objects they won't be able to get a complete picture of me, but that's the fun of them not being very related to each other, and it's not bad if they imagine wrong and right things about me. Anyway, that's how it happens nowadays and we handle more information about each other.😅

I had a lot of fun with this participation. Thank you very much. See you next time.👋

Perhaps they will think you paid all your money to travel a long distance to buy a flannel that was so important to you.

Exactly @awah ! That's a good theory too! I must have really liked that team to rule out my world tour.😂 See? It's been super fun to participate in the community this weekend. 👍🏻

Yep, always love the weekend engagement. Have a good weakened ahead

Same for you @awah 🤗

So, what is that? A flannel of the Caracas Lions for what? 🤪🤪🤪🤪

Apart from throwing them off, can you imagine how much such a T-shirt could be worth in 200 years? I hope some descendant of mine will benefit from the sale of such an item. But I still suspect that you don't like that team @liseth.zamora 😜

Hahaha just kidding, I'm not really a baseball fan but I have to support my Aguilas del Zulia. I've always thought Caracas fans are the most intense of all 😜.

I knew it! I have good friends who like the Eagles. Well, think about including that shirt in your capsule too. Thanks for stopping by @liseth.zamora

Chévere! Thanks to you. Good publication

Ha, ha, ha, ha with the third object with the second and the first. Well mine is the same, I mean the passport. I am from Valencia - Venezuela. Home of the Magellan navigators. It was really very nice this initiative. Let's keep growing in this blockchain world with participations like this. Thank you for this great moment that you give us my friend @aaalviarez

Can you imagine two capsules containing the similar items? And the jerseys of the eternal rivals in each! What else would have to happen to perpetuate that rivalry? I'm glad you had fun with this post too. Regards @lisfabian

Three interesting items indeed. I liked the passport one actually, proving you actually existed. I'm not sure if you really want to put your favourite shirt in there though, you'll miss it! 😁

You are right. I would miss her, but who knows? Maybe with the team name my name will also ring out in a museum 200 years from now. How crazy would that be... Greetings @galenkp 👍🏻

I think you deserve an entire room dedicated to you in that future museum. What an exhibit that would be!

Wow @galenkp ... I think it would be disappointing for some to walk into a room like that. I don't think I have a lot of other interesting things. So I have a few more years to collect and put to use for other things we can show in the future, other than my hamburger socks and special patterned ties 😜 Take a look:

Haha, a three stooges tie! That's gold! Do you ever wear it?

Yes @galenkp , of course. It's a good way to create distraction. One of the ideal moments is when I had to make difficult presentations in college. I would put it on in a surprise way and the professor would focus more on it than on what I was saying. And more recently one always finds occasions to use it. Once I made a post where I used a picture using it and talked a little bit about it, but it is in Spanish. This garment is a treasure for me 😃

It's a great diversionary tactic and I bet also a good conversation starter.
