Tired of my routine racing with the needles of clock, locked in the packets of small durations I jumped out of excitement when I got a phone call that told me @galenkp has sent me 1000$ to spend on my weekend activities.
”I would bring with it the thing I have been craving for- The Change". I thought at once.
Without a delay I booked 2 tickets for Islamabad. I was not going alone, of course, but with my husband. I feel like it has been long since we spent quality time with each other. Where there are routine's hassles to interfere, there are kids too always wanting to attend them first. No body should take me wrong. I know kids are the beings who spread colours and joy in our lives, yet the value of quality time that a couple needs to spend (without any distraction) with each other cannot be denied. So, for the first time, I left my sons to my mom and flew to Islamabad with my husband. From there, we took a cab to Ayubia.
The hill station at the height of 8,000 feet, covered with pine forest is such a refreshing resort.
The atmosphere with fresh oxygen, chirping of birds, tall trees, well-trimmed flowering plants and greenery was simply revitalizing. Deep breathing in the fragrant cool breeze cleaned inside out.
Enjoying the beauty of the place, we captured several beautiful spots and moments in our camera.
We took a trip in chair-lift.
Does any trip completes without shopping especially when you have your kids left behind…..? We did some shopping too.
In the evening we took a cab to Bhurban where a luxury room was already booked in pearl continental hotel. The cozy room decorated with aesthetic sense was enough to enhance the love making. It was a memorable night, indeed.
After taking the breakfast on the Sunday morning, we started our journey back to our home with so many memories that would be an asset forever.

Lol. There was no use of not spending as we were not allowed to save. So I decided to do shopping extravagantly 😉
