Reading and contemplating about this topic over and over again, I realized how personal I should go about this. There are so many clothes, shoes and other fashion stuffs that I am attracted to but the story behind each of them is so usual, no hard feelings attached, which means any new piece of clothe can get me attached the next second.
As I continued to ponder, there was only one dress of mine that meant so much to me. This is because the essence of love for that particular dress is birthed out of passion for something I revere so much. The clothing I am talking about is none other than my scrub wear. It is a dress we wear whenever we are in the theater.
My scrub wear is a symbol of excellence. Whenever I wear it, it means there is a life at stake that needs saving and I have to play a very crucial role in making sure the individual gets out of the operating room alive. It represents perfection and admits no iota of error as any mistake could mean a life is lost.
I feel so proud whenever I am in it. It reminds me of the toils of whoever made sure I am where I am today. It also reminds me of the struggles I had to go through to be able to have that uniform on. With all these in mind, I always want to make succeed in every procedure so I can put a huge smile on the faces of people.
