Control, motivation and a challenge. (WEEK 198)

"Challenge yourself; it's the only path that leads to growth."

Today's society, so different from the one I knew as a teenager, has changed so much. In many cases, if we take into consideration groups within it, I think I know, are out of control or rather controlled by something else.

Control is exercised in various ways, beliefs, programming, fitting into a group, for example. But another source of control in society is the media, of which we have to be very careful. For various reasons they themselves lead society out of control, e.g. by exercising fear in various forms.

To go against the establishment is to be branded as crazy, discriminated against and treated differently.

How many times have I said... if I lived in another era I would have been burnt at the stake for being a witch... I think I have said it many times. Today those who are different are simply isolated or subjected to multiple criticisms, to put it mildly.

Yes, society is out of control, because the people in it are not in control of their lives, but live on automatic. It sounds like a contradiction, but it is not. To be out of control is not to live in madness, or on second thought maybe it is. Are we living in senseless madness? Who is driving it? Have you ever thought about what is behind it?

I feel like an alien many times, I suffered bullying many times, especially when I was a teenager, because I was and am different. Now I don't care anymore, I found a lot of crazy people like me. And that's great.

I don't like dancing, I love music, but not dancing... and what's wrong with that? Well, it seems to be very bad because the critics were so critical of me. I enjoy music in a different way, but society, the majority said I had to dance.

I just don't like it and I won't do it and that strength in my opinion on that subject as in others earned me the consequences of society out of control. That made me even stronger, much stronger.

Another symptom of a changing society is the issue of alcohol. Nowadays there seems to be a rule that says that in order to have a good time or to feel good, you have to drink.

Alcohol relaxes the body and mind, but not only that, too much alcohol makes people not think and they don't know what they are doing. He has no control over himself. Society in many cases leads to that. Because if the person doesn't take, he is outside the system. Then I am out of it.

No dancing, no alcohol, what do you think, I'm out of the system of social control. However, I don't think I need those things to be happy or to have a good time. Being different is not so bad, especially when you find other crazy aliens who look like you.

I design my own life, I think for myself, I control myself. I am in control of myself and that is wonderful.

Often this reality can be demoralising and even demotivating, but in my case it works the other way round.

It is true that many times I have needed and I need a support, a push, I have an idea in mind and I think about it thinking... it will be good, I will be doing the right thing and sometimes I need that hand that pushes me from behind and tells me: Do it! Do it now!

But in the day to day and in the activities that I develop, the motivation or inspiration comes from... how to explain it .... From a supreme force that I have inside me.

My imagination accompanies me wherever I go. It motivates me, drives me, guides me. That strong intuition that guides my steps, my wings, my spirit.

That society can demotivate, but whoever has that warrior's armour, who feels that she has lived through millennia and has fought strong wars, has the motivation inside. Perhaps strengthened by one's own convictions and being like the red colour of strength in the midst of so much darkness.

Four themes, four that motivated me to do one, I didn't have to dance or drink and I could control this challenge. Thank you @galenkp for that push, I loved this challenge!
