I ATTENDED A BRIDAL SHOWER/WEDDING DURING THE WEEKEND

During the weekend I attended bridal shower and a wedding ceremony. Indeed marriage is an amazing union.
On 14th February, my uncle proposed to his fiancee and she said yes♥️. There was so much joy and happiness. We all know we had a wedding to plan.

April first the invitation was out and 19th(Sunday) was the wedding.

On Saturday I boarded a taxi from my house to their location, about 20 to 30 minutes journey. so I could help in doing somethings and to also join in the bridal shower which was on Saturday.

Getting there I met different people, we work together as team because we were members of the white angels; the bride aseobi group.

We later proceed to the hotel for the bridal shower, it was fun. We drink , eat and party everyone was happy.

We played so many games, dance and also had a one and one interactive session with the bride to get to know how she get to meet with his husband. And all the single ladies were ready to learn.

We slept very late at Saturday and Sunday was the wedding. So we had to wake up very early to prepare.
We pray, shower, eat and started dressing up.
The dressing up process took so much time. By 10am we were all ready and head to the church.

The bride and groom were march in, and the service started immediately, after alot of interrogation between the couples and the priest the marriage vow was exchange and the exchange rings also. Both parents of groom and bribe were call upon to bless the union and they did.They whole crowd was cheering in happiness.

It was a wonderful experience for me, I have been attending weddings but this one was the best of it's kind. I enjoy every bit of the events .Starting from the instrumentalist, music and others. The coordination there was topnotch.
The photographers can't be underated because the were busy taking pictures of everything that was done.

It was also like a family reunion to me, because I had the chance to meet alot of my family members that I have not been meeting for quite a long time.

After the wedding it was time for reception which held in the same venue. Toast was perform, followed by the cutting of cake.
The people ate and dine till they were satisfied some even package their food and take it home. Because the food was enough for everyone.

Gifts were presented to the couples by their guests. I was not left out, I also presented a gift to them.
It was the best experience I had so far.
I really enjoyed my Saturday and Sunday.
