RE: Don't be Calimero

As a leader, it's not worth complaining about such people in the team, who avoid obligations and don't like to work (because there are a lot of them), and also the question of who to complain to. HR services?
You will achieve little by doing so. The only happiness you can have is if you have at least one person in your team who is not like that, so that together with you they will be the initiators and set an example of how those who do not want to work should approach their work (the solution may be to reward those who work hard at tasks, so that these others who are not valuable and avoid obligations, are aware that their inaction does not deserve a reward).

I don't remember the cartoon either, I watched it 40 years ago, but this chicken, Calimero, has forever remained in my memory as someone who has objections to everything 🙂

You still had time today to copy this comment and post it in #Weekend-engagement, I think that many who lead teams would find themselves in your post 🙂

Very true. What I have tried to do is give a little freedom to my people to do what they know is right, even if I think it might not be, and be open to learning. Learning something new or learning from mistakes is still learning!

I have plenty of words and will probably find another prompt to talk about for #weekendexperiences ;)
